As Kai woke up from his deep slumber, he looked at his surroundings and contemplated " Why!, why every singe day, if only you'd let me move on" , as he recalled the dream a distant dream of his mother and little brother. He never fully remembered what was happening in that dream yet he always knew it, when he had it. All he could recall was sounds of scriblles which are uncomfortable to the ear. And illusory purple eyes that almost embodied judgment itself. Mixed in with his little brother cries "MOM!"
He got out of his wooden bed and looked at his roomates all still in deep slumber. He lazly walked to the bathroom, He looked at the clouded mirror and stared at his deep black hair, red eyes. Even though his clothes were humble he still had a dignified look. Almost like a fallen aristocrat.

Suddenly he heard paniced shouting from outside the setilment "everybody wake up get to your work stations now the great (Ripple) lady victoria has arrived", this made Kai remember his pity of a situation in this world all life form were classified based on the degree of influence they can exert on the world. Going at different realms including Ripple → Wave → Surge → Crest → Maelstrom ofcourse there are still diffrences on the type of influence they can exert and their level of control and understanding or utlization of their lifetide force. Albeit their lifetide force count is what really determines their stanaidng in different realms. Unforunatly Kai was born a riftholder just like all the workers in this place. In other words just a normie.
There are of course methods to ascend through realms however if your lifetide force is so incredibly little that you have no domain or a realm of influence to being with. Even the system ignores your existence.
As Kai walked out of his cramped housing he suddenly felt gloomy again as he saw the black cloudy sky, partly because he was in the domain of a Maw. A maw just like lifetide realms, there are also abysal beings some people assume they are divine punishment others assume its just nature but it doesnt matter beacuse even the great ripple victoria can kill a great Maw. It a whole realm above her albeit in the other direction as kai contemplated a smirk appeared on his face. Whisper → Maw → Torrent → Tempest → Maelstrom Shade.
Kai looked at the green misty pond infront of him and its flowing black river. His eyes landed on the jackpot or rather lady victoria jackpot a cave and a maiasma stone mine and he was the miner. Maiasma stones are used to create all kinds of magical weapons, apart form dao weapons naturally aquired after ascending realms it was a major part of a weaver combat capability. A weaver being a person with a standing in the realms.

As lady victoria walked with a dignified look in her eyes her ember hair almost glowing perfectly matched with her dark red rigal dress. She stopped and starred for a second at kai, then said " you come to my command centre." Kai smirked as he felt smug as the other miners stared at him in envy. ' I wonder what she wants from me, wait am I going to become one of the front cave explorers. NO WHY ME!" Kai lampooned.
