SERENA'S POV
I spent the whole day being perfectly normal.
Breakfast with Luca, civil and unremarkable, nothing worth remembering. I passed Romano in the hallway mid morning and nodded at him like a person with absolutely nothing going on inside her head. I sat in the garden for an hour in the afternoon with the assigned guard trailing behind me and looked at the hedges like they personally interested me.
All of it completely, convincingly normal.
Inside my head I was running the plan for the fourteenth time.
