Chapter 15: Elemental Imbalance
As the spell was recited, the magical barrier began to slowly disappear, revealing the entrance to the cave.
Ukko's team took a deep breath, nodded to each other, and then cautiously walked into the cave.
The cave was pitch black, and they couldn't see their own hands. Ukko released a Water Ball spell to illuminate the surrounding environment.
They discovered that the cave was very spacious, and the surrounding walls were covered with various ancient murals. These murals depicted scenes of magicians cultivating and fighting in ancient times, and were full of mystery.
Ukko's team continued to advance along the cave's passage, and they found that the passage was becoming narrower and narrower, and the air was becoming more and more humid.
Suddenly, Emilia stopped and exclaimed, "Everyone, look, there's a skeleton ahead!"
Ukko's team immediately gathered around, and they found that at the end of the passage, there lay a decayed skeleton. Scattered next to the skeleton were some dilapidated magical equipment and an ancient magic book.
"This... Could this be the skeleton of that ancient magician?" Reynard guessed.
"Very likely," Ukko nodded and said. "Let's go over and take a look."
Ukko's team cautiously walked to the skeleton, and they found that some ancient words were written on the ancient magic book.
Lilith carefully identified these words and then said, "These words are an ancient magic language, I can barely understand some of them."
"This book seems to be the cultivation notes of that ancient magician," Lilith continued. "It records his experience and insights in cultivating magic, as well as some powerful magic spells."
"Great!" Emilia said excitedly. "We're rich!"
Ukko shook his head and said, "Let's check if there are any dangers inside first."
Ukko's team began to carefully check the surrounding environment, and they found that some strange runes were engraved next to the skeleton.
"These runes seem to be a seal," Lilith said. "They seal a very powerful force."
"What force?" Ukko asked.
"I don't know either," Lilith shook her head and said. "But I feel that this force is very dangerous, and we'd better not touch it easily."
Ukko nodded, he trusted Lilith's intuition.
Ukko's team continued to explore the cave, and they found that the cave hid many precious treasures and powerful magic. However, these treasures and magic were protected by seals, and they could not be easily obtained.
Suddenly, Ukko noticed that in the depths of the cave, there was a huge stone tablet. Some ancient words were engraved on the stone tablet, emitting a faint light.
"Everyone, look, what is that?" Ukko said, pointing to the stone tablet.
Ukko's team immediately gathered around, and they found that some ancient prophecies were engraved on the stone tablet.
Lilith carefully identified these words, and then her face turned pale.
"What's wrong, Lilith?" Emilia asked with concern.
"This... This records a terrible prophecy," Lilith said in a trembling voice. "The prophecy says that in the near future, the elements will be unbalanced, and the world will fall into chaos."
"Elemental imbalance?" Ukko frowned and said. "What does that mean?"
"I don't know either," Lilith shook her head and said. "But I feel that this prophecy is very ominous, and we must report this news to the academy as soon as possible."
Ukko nodded, he agreed with Lilith's opinion.
Ukko's team immediately left the cave, and they decided to report this terrible prophecy to the academy.
However, just as they were preparing to leave the forbidden area, suddenly, a black shadow appeared in front of them.
The black shadow let out a sinister laugh and said, "You have discovered things you shouldn't have discovered, you will all stay here today!"
Ukko's team immediately became vigilant, they knew that a fierce battle was about to begin.
