Chapter 7
It happened during a skirmish. A wounded Senju ally, a man named Daichi, was brought to their compound. He was dying from a poisoned wound. Itama, hidden in the shadows of the medical hut, watched the man's last, ragged breaths. A morbid compulsion took him. As the light left Daichi's eyes, Itama activated **Copy**.
The influx was overwhelming. Daichi's entire physical form, his muscle memory with the katana, his affinity for Doton, his life experiences as a mid-level Senju warrior—all flooded into Itama's mental library. He staggered, a nosebleed trickling from his nostril. He now held a perfect, restorable copy of Daichi. He could, with enough chakra, create a living, breathing, thinking duplicate with all his skills and memories up to the point of death. The ethical weight of it settled on his small shoulders.
