Chapter 7: To the Peak of the World, Ho-Oh's Home!
At the highest peak of the Yunying Mountain range, Mt. Tengan.
This is the residence of the Legendary Pokémon Ho-Oh and the territory of the Ho-Oh Sacred Guardians.
However, most of the time, they are traveling and only gather at Mt. Tengan in special circumstances.
Of course, there is one Pokémon that is an exception.
Entei, carrying Holt, slowly climbed up the rugged mountain path.
It looked up, sensing that Ho-Oh's presence was not near.
This meant that Ho-Oh was not currently at Mt. Tengan, probably out on one of its usual journeys.
Entei lowered its gaze and glanced back, finding that Holt had already fallen asleep on its back.
This was probably a natural trait of human children—they needed plenty of sleep in their youth to grow, Entei thought.
It walked slowly and steadily, and before long, they reached the mountainside of Mt. Tengan. Here, there was an uninhabited cave that could shelter Holt from the wind and rain.
The cave wasn't large or small, but it was dry, warm, and quite comfortable.
Entei found a suitable spot, then gently lowered its body to allow Holt to slide off its back.
Its movements were light, seemingly trying not to wake the little one, but as Entei moved, Holt woke up.
"Are we home?"
Holt rubbed his sleepy eyes, turned, and looked around, quickly realizing that he had been brought to a cave by Entei.
The cave was spacious, with only a few scattered stones, almost empty otherwise.
Is this Entei's home?
Holt looked around, feeling curious.
"This is where we'll live from now on," Entei's voice sounded in Holt's mind.
Sensing Holt's emotions, Entei continued, "This is Mt. Tengan, the base of Ho-Oh and the Sacred Guardians. From now on, this will be your home too."
Although Holt couldn't speak yet, Entei could feel that he understood its words.
As expected, when Entei finished speaking, a look of surprise appeared on Holt's face.
Mt. Tengan! This was Mt. Tengan!
In the movie "You're the One!" the main stage was set here, where Ash and Pikachu would undergo their trials to become Rainbow Heroes!
Holt suddenly realized.
No wonder they had encountered Raikou earlier—this was the territory of the Three Legendary Beasts and Ho-Oh!
Did that mean that, in the future, he might also encounter Suicune, Mewtwo, or even Ho-Oh?
Seeing that Holt had woken up, Entei assumed the little one was likely hungry after all these days.
It stood up quickly and said to Holt:
"I'll go find some food for you. Stay here, don't move."
Mt. Tengan was their territory, so it was completely safe.
With that, Entei turned and swiftly left the cave.
Holt felt conflicted.
The idea of a Pokémon acting as his father seemed so strange... Although Entei had been kind to him.
But, given the current situation, it seemed that Entei was the only one he could rely on.

Finally, based on his preferences, he could exchange for wallpapers, furniture, and decorations.

Right now, Holt only had 10 Shock Points, which was barely enough to exchange for two bottles of MooMoo Milk.
Sigh...
Until he grew up, he'd have to rely on Entei!
However, as a child with an adult soul, Holt couldn't quite accept Entei as his father.

The next second, a bottle of MooMoo Milk appeared out of thin air in front of him.
Seeing this unexpected sight, Entei froze for a moment before becoming cautious.

Holt blinked in surprise. Had he received extra Shock Points?
Entei relaxed slightly as it saw Holt eagerly drinking from the bottle, a satisfied expression on his face.

It shook its head and communicated telepathically: "I don't need it. Keep it for yourself!"
This milk looked so precious—wasn't it a waste for Entei to drink it?
Moreover, it felt too precious for Entei to drink.
