The First Dream
Aanya Mehra had always been different.
Not because she was the quiet topper of her class.
Not because she preferred books over parties.
But because she dreamed of things before they happened.
At first, it was small things.
A broken coffee cup.
A sudden rainstorm on a sunny day.
A surprise test in mathematics.
Every dream came true within 24 hours.
She told no one.
Who would believe her?
Everything changed the night she dreamed about the fire.
She saw flames swallowing her college library. Smoke filled the air. Students screamed. And in the middle of it all, she saw a boy she had never met before.
He was standing still. Watching the fire like he knew it would happen.

"Find me before it starts," he said.
