The moment Vikram's vision stabilized, he found himself standing at the edge of a town.
It didn't look like a ruin, nor was it like the Kobold Dungeon.
It was… a normal place.
Rows of houses stretched across the area in a simple, practical layout.
Most of them were small, single story homes with slanted roofs, while a few stood slightly taller, with narrow balconies and enclosed courtyards.
The streets between them were wide. Some houses were intact, with faint light flickering behind their windows.
Others were not.
Several buildings bore visible damage, with cracked walls, shattered glass, and doors hanging loose from their hinges. A few had partially collapsed, their roofs sunken inward as if crushed by immense force. Scratches and impact marks ran across the surfaces, leaving behind silent evidence of repeated attacks.
Yet despite all that, the place felt lively, filled with the movement of the town's inhabitants.
