Vrinda's POV
I woke in my bed so tired after returning from a trip with my family last night.
I missed 2 days of school due to this trip, and today I had to go. I got up, freshened up, and went down to see that my mom was already packing my lunch box.
"Hey, Mom, Good Morning."
"Good morning, dear, come here and eat your breakfast."
"Okay."
I finished my breakfast and took my backpack, then stormed out of the house as I realized that my father was waiting on the bike for me.
I quickly went and sat on the seat behind him as we drove off to the bus stop.
My school was 20km from my home. I had to take 2 buses daily. In the morning, my father would drop me off at the bus stop from where I take a bus that goes directly to my school.
I got into the bus. It was a 1-hour journey, the whole time I did be imagining, overthinking, planning, and watching the outside scenery.
I reached my school, a 10 minutes walk to the main gate.
Then the realization hit me.
It's last year of our school, 10th class. I will not be able to see this school again, and parents won't allow me to come this far after I pass 10th.
Soon students started to come, and then I saw one of my friends, Sahithi, and ran to her.
"Hey" i said.
"Hey Vrinda, after many days you decided to show up huh?"
"Girl!, I was just absent for two days, that's it!"
"I know it, but before that there were holidays right? so i just included them too" she grinned while putting her hands on her hips. (Basically giving a pose).
"hey, by the way in which section am I in?"
"bro, you are in the E section, the topper's class!!"
"what? again? man!! i wanted to be with you guys. that class, that section is soo boring. all just keep studying, there's no fun there"
"I know but what can we do you are the one who studies good." she shrugs.
"If I don't, my parents are going to kill me"
But still I don't know with whom I am going to sit.
Whoever it is, at the end it's just going to be boring.
No one's POV
She enters into the classroom to just find a few students there, whom she knew.
she just says hi and keeps her bag in the on a middle bench and leaves outside to meet her other friends.
She goes to the gate to find sahithi there and then they both go to the ground to meet their other friends.
They roam in the ground till the bell rings indicating the start of the classes.
when she enters her classroom she goes to the seat she had kept the bag and sees that an other girl was sitting beside her. They start talking because she already knew her.
Vrinda's POV
While I was talking, I heard someone calling me, so I turned to look from where did the sound came from.
"Yeah?"
"Can you come over here and sit with this girl please. as you are three in a bench " a girl asked while showing the girl behind her who was alone.
Sounds like a good idea though. But i Don't know them how can i match my vibe there?
At least i can have a little talk here, though we don't match our vibes that much.
But-
"Okay, No problem" I reply ignoring the thoughts.
Let's try something new for the new academic year.
I took my bag and went to her. As i sat she started speaking.
"Hey, I am Jahnavi." said while extending her hand for an handshake.
"Hi, I am Vrinda" does handshake
Then we both saw that in the first bench two students are discussing about who is going to sit on the bench where there were already 2 members were sitting.
A girl came to us and asked if her friend could sit there.
What is happening here? one calls me here and one more is called to sit here.
We saw each other faces and then agreed to her.
The girl came over and sat beside jahnavi.
"Hey, I am Nikitha" she said.
"Hi I am Vrinda and she is Jahnavi" I introduced ourselves while gesturing at jahnavi.
Then our class teacher entered Mrs.Manjusha mam, science teacher. I knew her from my 9th class, though she didn't teach us, my friend was studying in her class.
Soon the class was filled with students and she started teaching us.
what a teacher, started teaching on the first day of school.
For only me it's first day, that's other thing.
Then a sir from the other section suddenly came.
"good morning students"
"Good morning sir!!!" All sang.
"We are removing 'C section' and distributing those students to other classes due to less members in that class. So, your class also will be receiving some students. make some space for them to sit."
Then three students came into our class in which i was familiar with two faces. That are Varun and Aryan.
There was a bench beside us where only one person was sitting. so, two of them came and sat there, they knew each other. Another one just sat with his friends in the another row.
No one's POV
While they were sitting Aryan by mistake pushed Varun with his bag.
With that he fell on Vrinda as she was just behind him at the corner of her bench.
"oh! Sorry. I didn't really mean to" he said while stabilizing himself and turning to her.
"No problem" she said while smiling.
He sat and turned to her.
"By the way I am Varun" he said while extending his hand.
"Yeah I know you. We both were in the same class last year"
"oh! really? But I have never seen you"
"well, you were always busy with your friends" she smiled.
"That's true. But what's your name?"
she chuckled. "I am Vrinda"
"Okay now let's continue with our lesson" the teacher announced.
"what? already?" he said slowly.
She leaned closer to him, whispering.
"yeah, she is been teaching nonstop from that time"
"God! why did we have to get her as our teacher?" he said in a whisper
Both laughed.
