Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Marikawa Shizuka and YukimiBotamon

Busujima Dojo.

Bathed in the silver light of the moon, Saeko knelt gracefully on the polished wooden floor. The ambient glow reflected off her silky purple hair, casting her in an ethereal, almost divine radiance.

Yet, beneath her tranquil exterior, a chaotic storm raged within her mind.

It was as if time had skipped. She couldn't remember leaving the alley, nor could she recall the walk home. Her memories were a blurry haze starting from the moment Suyan handed her the parchment.

She had gripped it tightly the entire way back, only snapping out of her daze when she finally sat down in her family's empty dojo.

"The meaning of life? To truly feel alive?" she whispered into the empty room, her gaze distant.

Resting on the floor to her front-left was the White Oak Bokken she always carried for self-defense. To her front-right lay the parchment Suyan had entrusted to her.

She had read the terms and conditions printed on the supernatural document no less than ten times. She fully understood that the moment she signed her name, she would be granted a one-way ticket into the hidden world.

Yet, she hadn't signed it immediately.

It wasn't because the terms were harsh. In fact, it was the exact opposite. The conditions laid out on the parchment were so overwhelmingly lenient and protective toward her that she genuinely wondered if it was less of a magical contract and more of a formal marriage proposal.

"Entrust your future to me..."

Recalling the intense look in his eyes when he said those words, a furious blush crawled up Saeko's neck and set her cheeks on fire.

If anyone from Fujimi Academy could see her right now, their jaws would hit the floor. The legendary, unapproachable Ice Queen of the Kendo Club was currently blushing and fidgeting like a hopelessly smitten schoolgirl.

"Suyan... what you're doing is entirely against the rules, you know?" she murmured softly, her eyes glazed with affection as she stared down at the parchment.

It took several long minutes for the burning heat in her cheeks to finally subside and for her usual cold composure to return.

Without another moment of hesitation, her slender fingers grabbed a pen, and she smoothly signed her name across the bottom of the parchment.

"If you truly desire this tainted, bloodstained soul of mine... then my future is yours to claim."

...

Meanwhile, Suyan had just arrived at his own house.

He had to admit, living in this country for over a year had slowly begun to alter his daily habits. Case in point...

"I'm home~" he called out naturally as he stepped into the entryway.

"Mi!" "Mi!"

Before he could even kick off his shoes, two white, fluffy projectiles shot out of the hallway and hurled themselves directly at his face.

Moving on pure instinct, Suyan caught the two incoming missiles, one in each hand.

Upon closer inspection, the two white, dumpling-like blobs were actually living, breathing, obscenely adorable creatures.

"Mi" "Mi"

The fluffy blobs purred like kittens, nuzzling affectionately against his palms.

These little creatures had a name that perfectly matched their appearance: YukimiBotamon.

Most people wouldn't recognize the name immediately, but they were vastly more famous by their ultimate evolutionary form.

They were the Fresh/Baby stage of Angewomon!

Yes, that Angewomon from the Digimon franchise.

And no, Suyan wasn't a DigiDestined. He certainly wouldn't have minded being a Chosen Child, but who the hell gets chosen at eighteen years old? Furthermore, the Digital World didn't even exist in this universe.

When the YukimiBotamon first appeared, Suyan had been completely dumbfounded. While they possessed the exact same abilities and evolutionary potential as their anime counterparts, they weren't actual Digimon. They were Nen Beasts, born purely from aura.

The first one manifested the moment Marikawa Shizuka signed his contract and awakened her Emission Type Nen. The second one spawned from Suyan himself when his Vow and Limitation synchronized and copied her ability.

In the world of anime, the trope of "dumb luck" was an absolute law of physics.

Authors always gave absurd, reality-bending preferential treatment to airheaded, busty characters. Translated into the real world, this meant girls like Shizuka were the absolute darlings of fate itself.

While Suyan had to strategize, bleed, and chain his own soul to brutal Vows and Limitations just to survive, Shizuka simply woke up one day, signed a piece of paper, and instantly acquired a high-tier Emission ability and a divine-class Nen Beast.

She didn't even have to train. As long as she passively fed her aura to her YukimiBotamon every day, she was guaranteed to eventually command an absurdly powerful, ultimate-level Angel Digimon.

Where was the justice in that?

Suyan playfully rubbed the two fluffy heads in his hands.

"That's weird, did Shizuka forget to feed you guys your aura today? Whatever..."

Suyan shook his head and didn't dwell on it. He condensed two pure spheres of his own Nen and tossed them to the starving blobs.

"Mi!" "Mi!"

The YukimiBotamon's eyes sparkled. They opened their tiny mouths and happily devoured the energy.

Leaving the pets to their meal, Suyan swapped his sneakers for indoor slippers and walked into the living room.

He was immediately greeted by the sight of a spectacular, hourglass figure draped lazily across the sofa.

The gorgeous, airheaded blonde was fast asleep, her golden hair spilling in a messy cascade onto the floor. Her incredibly massive assets were straining violently against the buttons of her white dress shirt. Thanks to gravity, they looked like two massive, overfilled water balloons perfectly squeezed together.

Sensing Suyan walking into the room, her long eyelashes fluttered. She slowly opened her eyes, revealing a pair of crystal-clear, golden irises that looked as pure as mountain spring water.

She looked exactly like a naive, freshly graduated college student with absolutely zero life experience. One look at her face was enough to convince anyone that there wasn't a single complex thought behind those pretty eyes.

This was Marikawa Shizuka—the famously ditzy, incredibly well-endowed school nurse from Highschool of the Dead.

She was also the very first person Suyan had met in this world.

And, of course, his very first contractor.

"Little Suyan, you're back?"

Shizuka sleepily rubbed her eyes before locking her gaze onto him.

Suddenly, a playful spark danced in her golden eyes. She pressed a delicate index finger to her chin, blinked coquettishly, and smiled. "Little Suyan, do you want to eat dinner first? Take a bath first? Or do you want to... eat me first?"
