Jay Jay POV
Keifer was staring at me again. I asked sharply:
"What? Why are you staring?"
He said:
"I was mesmerized by your beauty."
The mischievous voices of Section A were heard. I said:
"Idiot."
He said:
"Oh wow, bad language."
I quickly jumped up and ran. A few students from Section A blocked my way. I said:
"Move out of the way!"
One of them said:
"Keifer, kiss Jay."
The rest of Section A started teasing and chanting for him to kiss me. I said:
"Hey, shut up."
Keifer walked toward me and said:
"You've cursed three times so far."
Oh damn it! Keifer, you really are an idiot.
Suddenly, he placed a kiss on my lips.
I wanted to punch him—and I did. I punched him straight in the jaw.
Keifer said:
"Ow, that hurt."
I said:
"Serves you right!"
The bell rang, and the next teacher came in. Once again, I lost track of time. School ended.
I got into Aries's car, and we went home.
We rang the doorbell, and my mom hugged me with a smile on her face. I pulled away from her hug, greeted her, and went to my room to change my clothes.
After I changed, someone called my name. It was one of the maids. I went downstairs, and she said:
"Miss, you have a guest."
A guest? Was someone supposed to come see me?
Then I saw her pointing to the person behind the door.
What?! Keifer was here.
He waved at me, and the maid left.
I said to him:
"What are you doing here?!"
I added:
"Someone might see you."
He said:
"So what if someone sees me?"
He added:
"What's wrong with seeing my bride?"
I gently pushed him and said:
"I'm not your bride!"
"You will be soon!"
I said:
"No, I won't."
I added:
"So what did you want?"
He said:
"I wanted to talk to you."
He grabbed my hand and led me to his car. He started the engine and parked near an expensive café.
I said:
"What are we doing here?"
He said:
"You'll find out soon."
He led me to a table for two. No one else was in the café. A waiter came toward us and said:
"What would you like?"
Keifer answered:
"Two waffles and two ice creams."
Ice cream? For me? Yay!
The waiter replied and left:
"Yes, sir."
Keifer took something out of his pocket and handed it to me. It was a silver necklace.
I asked:
"What is this for?"
He replied:
"Do you remember when I asked you to make it official and you said you'd think about it? Have you thought about it now?"
He added:
"Jesper Jean Mariano, will you be my girlfriend?"
I stayed silent. Honestly, I had tried several times to tell him that I wanted to be with him too, but I kept getting interrupted. Jay Jay, you idiot—this is a good chance. Tell him yes.
I said:
"I've thought about it. My answer is yes."
Keifer smiled and put the necklace on me.
After a while, the waiter brought our ice cream and waffles, and later, he drove me home.
