Arthur looked up to the man,with eye bags under his eyes. Before he could give an answer,a guard rushed to him.
"Young master, there's a big problem... Lady ruby won't wake up from her rest"
"H-huh..."
He tried his best to play ignorant as he followed him back to his room. When he left, the guards questioned the knight that walked up to Arthur.
"How dare you suggest such a thing to the young Master?, the boss made it clear that he refused to learn the sword so no one should attempt to teach him or face the consequences"
"It was just a joke...haha"
"You should thank the heavens that he was called,you might be dead right now"
"My bad..."
I hope young master succeeds in his trial...he seem to think alot these days
Arthur and his guard reached the room and walked up to her. There was no change in her expression nor any signs of being poisoned. Her father arrived soon after with the doctors.
"What's wrong?..."
"She has been asleep for over one hour since the rising sun and she shows no sign of waking up"
The doctors moved to examine her, with tension in the air. After cross checking closely, they came to a conclusion
"Your daughter has awakened magic..."
"Huh?...HUH?!"
The news quickly spread like wildfire, bringing joy to the Koreans who heard of it. But there was one problem.
"She awakened a very rare type of healing magic and caused mana overload to her body,which is why she was unconscious... but the thing is,we don't know when she'll wake up"
"I can hire mages to check on her..."
Arthur turned and walked out as he was tired of listening. As usual,he guard escorted him back.
"Dan Eun, bring me august..."
"Yes sir..."
He turned and left
August is probably gonna die...he shouldn't have tried to teach him the sword
August arrived later after finishing his training and walked into Arthur's room. Without saying a word, Arthur directed august to follow him back to the training grounds
When everyone saw what was happening,they lost hope in helping him. Despite being the strongest knight in their arsenal, he could be easily disposed of if he doesn't abide by the rules. When they reached the training ground, August bowed to him
"Young master... It was only a joke, nothing to take serious"
The knights standing by discussed within their selves
"It's too late August...you were quite arrogant cause you were the strongest"
Arthur was confused as to why he was bowing his head
"What's wrong august, what did you do?"
"I...I tried to get you to learn the way of the sword"
"Huh... but I want to learn it"
"Huh?"
"What?!?!"
The crowd were shocked by his sudden change of pace. He always said that learning the sword was for the low class and he shouldn't do it. August himself was speechless when he heard that
"Young... young master,are you serious?"
"Yes... In four years,I need to be as strong as a knight without technology equipments"
"I'll do my best..."
Yeah,in four years, I need to be as strong as that because after that time,'it' will begin
"Let's start tomorrow..."
"Yes sir"
There's something I need to do now
Arthur exited the training grounds and walked for a while until he got to the edge of the estate where no one would notice him and sat on the floor. A speck of light flew into his estate and landed on his hands.
"Yo,art..."
"You're still here, red..."
"Yeah... I can't go yet even if you went back in time... You can't even use magic so I'm stuck with you until we die"
Arthur talked with the light for a while until he noticed his best friends father's footsteps
"Sir..."
"Oh,son, what brings you here?"
"I wanted to speak with you...I wish to go to the world magic academy in four years time."
"What?!... seriously?, that's good son"
"Thanks sir... How is ruby?"
"I don't know, the she still hasn't woken up yet...but for me to put you in the school, you should be able to fight august for five minutes without falling"
"I'll do my best..."
He turned and leaves while Arthur walked back Into the library of the estate to read some books on magic. Since they has been no magic sighting in the country, there were very few books.
But amongst the ones he saw,a particular idea struck his mind
"Book name is [returner's magic circle]"

August walked back to his room with his sword and some training materials to prepare for his young master's training session when he spotted a guard standing in front of his room.
He ignores the person and walked past them to enter his room. Just then, a dagger moved and stop at his nose's bridge. The movement was so fast that he couldn't predict it until the last second. During that time, he had already pointed his sword and the person
"Whoa... I guess you're not the strongest knight for nothing. I knew you were the right choice"
"What do you want?"
"Oh... You like to get straight to the point. I need a single thing from you,and that is to refuse Arthur's training session."
"Huh... No won't do."
"I expected that so I came up with plan b... Here"
The guard hands over a file and august goes through it. After seeing it's contents, he walks inside his home.
"I'll be waiting for your answer..."
As the guard turns to leave, Arthur walks towards him from behind a pole.
"You sure pulled a fast one... Rainbow"
