Chapter 1 - Prologue 1

The last thing Jogo remembered was being thrown off a building, being in the sky, then seeing Ryomen Sukuna.

Then he fought. He fought with fervor, using everything he had to land a hit on the King of Curses. A single, measly hit.

But the gap between them was far too large, and the last thing the disaster curse saw was flames. Not flames burning Sukuna.

Instead, they were flames on himself.

This is the story everyone knows. But what if it did not happen?

Then he, Jogo, awoke. It had all been dream, and he had no time to waste on such things.

It was time to lay waste to Shibuya, reincarnate Ryomen Sukuna, and seal Satoru Gojo, even if it meant his death.

Because Jogo would not shy away from death if it meant a world without humans, a world with only curses.

And the Shibuya plan commenced as intended.

He and his fellow disaster curses, Hanami, Dagon, and Mahito, together with their unlikely allies, the curse user Kenjaku and the Death Painting Choso, were ready to seal Satoru Gojo and prevent any sorcerers from rescuing him.

Although in the back of his mind, doubt lingered. In his dream, nightmare, future vision, whatever it was, Ryomen Sukuna had told him something:

"You should have just burned everything down.

Burned everything down to a cinder without giving it a thought.

Casting aside race, future, everything, until you reached Satoru Gojo.

That hunger to seize your ideals, that is what you are truly lacking."

You should have just burned everything down until you reached Satoru Gojo.

Can I truly reach Satoru Gojo? If so, do I want to? To leave my dreams and desires of a world of curses behind for strength? Is this what I could… no. What I should do? I have to say something to Hanami and Choso.

Jogo: "Here we are. I... he adjusts his posture, his hands shaking slightly Whatever happens, I'll have your backs. We'll hold Gojo in place here until Kenjaku can seal him.''

He spoke with feigned courage, though his voice was shaking. Hanami nodded at him and choso spoke up.

Choso: "Acting like this is unlike you, Jogo. Though... lets just get on with this."

He said calmly, although the 3 of them could all feel the tension in the air.

But there was no time to slack off. Satoru Gojo had just entered Platform B5F. It was the moment of truth. Jogo, Choso, and Hanami versus the strongest sorcerer of today, the heir of the Gojo clan and wielder of the Six Eyes and the Limitless technique.

Jogo was ready to die, and he always had been.

He needed to be unafraid. So why is he paralyzed in fear?

He wasn't meant to be afraid.

It's how we curses are, of course. We aren't afraid to die. We are true to our desires! That is why humans are our inferiors. We remain true to ourselves and to our goals, even when death is coming, unlike humans who would betray all their values if their lives were at stake.

That was what Jogo told himself. But having seen Satoru Gojo and fought him one on one truly made him question what he believed about being a curse.

But Jogo cast all his worries and aspirations aside. It was time to face Satoru Gojo.

And face Satoru Gojo, he did.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The battle had begun, and Jogo and his allies used every advantage they could. They trapped Gojo inside with them and a large group of civilians, meaning he could not use his powers to their full extent without killing innocent people. Jogo and Hanami used Domain Amplification to harm him, anything to hold him back, anything to evade him.

But it was not enough.

It could never be enough.

Faster then Jogo could react, Hanami was being pressed against a wall with the abilities of Gojo's infinity technique. maybe the Jogo of yesterday may have simply tried to distract Gojo, though he was now a changed curse. He was now the curse that would stop at nothing to get stronger, to get to the level of Satoru and Sukuna, after all.

And, as such, He charged, mixing his domain amplification with a magma blast flying into satoru gojo's back.

Gojo dodged, retreating out of the blast's range as Jogo realised he saved Hanami. He smiled to her, his black teeth shining due to the subway the subway lights, though they were still far from safety. Choso began using blood manipulation to attack groups civilians nearby in a bid to distract satoru, though it was useless.

Hanami was still paralyzed by pain, however she managed to use her roots to push Jogo off to the side, then all Jogo saw was a purple ball of light thrown in Hanami's direction before having his vision clouded by dust and rubble.

Jogo's mind raced as he grew more and more desperate.

He then heard the smell of smoke, then the sound of wood being crushed. He stumbled upwards, then the smoke cleared.

He saw what remained of hanami, her body with a massive chunk missing where her chest would be, with whatever remained crushed into the hole on the wall. She was not going to survive, her roots wiggling helplessly, filling Jogo with a feeling of helplessness.

Satoru Gojo turned to him, his blue eyes filled with killing intent.

Jogo felt fear. True fear unlike any he'd ever felt. This was not the satoru gojo he'd once failed to defeat. This was a true monster by every sense of the word.

Then, a thought passed by Jogo's mind. One that was strangely human. Strangely weak.

I could die here. Let it all go, and we will still prevail. I stand no chance against this man. If I'm defeated, Choso will likely hold on until Mahito's train with the transfigured humans arrive. after that, Kenjaku will appear, and It's checkmate.

Jogo then chuckled to himself

As if I could ever let myself do that. on my back, I carry the burden of the dreams of all curses. I will keep fighting. I will burn EVERYTHING on my way in path to my dreams! I have made my choice! I am a curse! I am true to my beliefs, my aspirations, and my dreams! I will hold Satoru Gojo here until Kenjaku seals him in the Prison Realm, if it is the last damned thing I do. And not for me, not for strength, but for my fellow curses. That is the way of a true curse!

With this new jolt of energy coursing through his body, Jogo turned on domain amplification in both his hands, as satoru gojo looked at him in anger

GOJO: Weakling! That was a nice try back there, but this is the end of the line!

His face contorted in anger as his demeanor didn't match his words. He tried to sound condescending, but in reality he seemed to now see Jogo as less of an inferior, like he was a threat.

Does this mean he sees me as an actual opponent instead of just a nuisance? I've got to use this to my advantage!

Jogo: Emberinsects!

Jogo activates his ember insects technique, creating small small flying insect-like curses from the opening in his head that exploded upon contact and made loud noises, preparing to use them to attack civilians as a distraction.

Suddenly, a train screeched into the station, and its doors opened.

Transfigured humans created by Mahito appeared and rapidly poured in, attacking the civilians inside, as choso and mahito began doing so aswell.

Gojo seemed to have reached his breaking point, his hands shaking and his eyes blinking rapidly. He gave up on holding back.

DOMAIN EXPANSION: UNLIMITED VOID.

It had seemed Jogo needed another reminder of the gap between the two of them.

For 0.2 seconds, Gojo kept his domain activated, immediately incapacitating all humans, transfigured or otherwise.

He then ran with all his speed, easily surpassing what any of his 3 opponents can run, immediately killing any transfigured humans he came into contact with, their blood and body parts splattering on the floor

As he moved like this, Choso tried to harden the blood in Gojo's clothes to slow him down and Mahito attempted to intercept him, but he was too fast for either of them. Jogo was simply observing, waiting until satoru stopped moving before attacking again.

When he was done with them, he turned to Jogo, his face now a mixture of rage and pure disgust

Gojo: Nowhere to turn now, curse..!

He said as he prepared a hollow purple attack

Just in the nick off time, Kenjaku appeared behind Gojo.

Kenjaku: Hey, Satoru!

Before he could muster up any response, the prision realm appeared around Satoru, effectively trapping him before closing.

The Prison Realm, a heavy red box with eyes on all its sides, fell to the ground, and it was clear that Satoru Gojo was securely sealed inside.
