The man watches his son with a happy expression, he is so happy that he is crying, with a stream of water coming out of his eyes. Then, all of a sudden he calls out to Ella and Laila, who are both trembling with fear. But, he does not pay attention because right now, he is in his own world.
Laila's POV:
I was with my lady miss Luna Orb, all day I have tried everything I can to protect myself, but nothing seems to be working. And I was so scared, because her husband goes by the name of lord Cosmo Orb. Do not take him for the face. He is a very ruthless person, I heard when he was younger. He used to be a good and kind person. But, we village people do not know what happens, that makes him a man, always going for blood. He cares only about his family. So, if something were to happen I was a goner.
Thank God, my mother thought of Lunar flowers, because these flowers have a large amount of Nocturnal essence that may protect the body, they have a large amount of potency in it, so we cannot extract it and use it to save people. But, today once in a lifetime it worked, and saved the life of miss Luna, because if something happened we were gone. I have to Thank my mother. Who thought of this? Suddenly, Sir Cosmo called us.
Cosmo's POV:
I called out to both of the midwives who were standing in front of me. I asked them what they want for the work. They have done as I am the lord of the village that is present below the mountain. Our village is present at the edge of the kingdom. The king has given me this place, to protect the kingdom from any foreign invasion.
The midwives who trembling for the reason, I do not know, replied, "We will take any thing that the lord will provide us, with his happienss". So, I called out to my butler who is standing, on the side, beside the blue wall that has Numerous paintings of our ancestors, on it.
My butler, who is wearing a butler dress, has red eyes and black hairs along with a ninja aura. He belongs to a shade family that is in our family servitude for how long, I do not know. I ask him to bring many for the midwives from the treasury. He gave me a bow and went to the mansion basement for the money.
I started talking, to midwives about my wife's condition who lying there on bed having blonde hair and those enchanting blue eyes that take my breath away, but the midwives instead of answering, they started to watch, here and there as if they some thing is very wrong with my wife and, they were not telling me, but I keep my cool as my baby is in my arm. And my wife is sleeping in front of me.
Ella's POV:
As lord, asking about his wife and child's condition, I do not know what to say, as it never happened that lunar flowers have worked on somebody. I know I shouldn't have let this all happen but my stupid daughter, who wanted to have more money by working for the lord I told her we should send here, somewhere else, I swear if I come out of here alive she going to receive a good beating, I swear it on my motherhood, I am going to mother here very well. I was thinking of way out here that suddenly, miss Luna started to stir, And watching the chance, given to me for I do not know my which good, deed I do not know, I mean I just swear to beat here, I abruptly said, "sir she will wake up in a short while, she just exhausted due to birth and have passed out".
And to my great fate, she woke up in a few minutes. He was going to talk to us, then suddenly there was a large bang! Sir, Cosmo gave us the baby and went outside to check what happened but when he returned his hands were covered in blood. With a slight cut on the hand. He took a cloth from the maid standing outside to wipe his hands and then, came home with a wide grin as if nothing had happened. Seeing this once again, I was shocked to the core.
Luna's POV:
As I woke up I was greeted by husband Cosmo. He had black hair, and also black eyes holding abyss in them. But to me they were the best. He was holding our baby and was looking at me with eyes that were filled with love. Cosmo said, "Luna dear, How are you feeling?" To which I replied, "I am feeling good, in fact energetic." The reason behind this feeling, I do not know. But, if someone asked me to run now. I do not know why but I think I can run miles after experiencing extreme pain for a whole day.
Cosmo then, came forward and gave me a loving kiss on my forehead, then he gave me my baby boy. Who has black hair, closed eyes but I can tell they were blue in color. Then, I saw a feather mark on my boy's chest. And I became terrified, with wide eyes I asked my husband "what is that?" Pointing towards his chest.
When Cosmo saw the mark he started laughing like a maniac. I asked still, terrified "Is it bad." In reply, Cosmo just said, "No way." And that was it, that was my limit I asked with grave tone, "Dear husband, tell me what is this." I love my husband, he was the best. We never had a fight but at that moment I know I don't care. I just want my boy to be safe. Because, I don't know right now I don't care about my husband, only my boy. I became possessive. I didn't even know how that happened.
Cosmo just stared at me wide-eyed and started to mutter, "Boy, you just now popped out and stole my girl." I said with a more angry tone, " what did you say?" I do not know how but that voice came from my inner self. I think this is what becoming a mom feels like. Your life starts to revolve around your child, whom you want to protect from all the dangers of the world. Cosmo abruptly straightened up and replied, " He bears the mark of guardian on his chest." I said, " what is that?" But Cosmo replied, " I also do not, but I know that in our world there is a myth. According to which, whoever has that mark will etch his name in history." I know he will he is my boy after all.
