For another time that night, Willow gazed down on her phone, leaving the television she was watching. Although she was watching the television, but her attention wasn't there.
Her mind and all is just to see the call of whom she has missed so much, is no other but her husband, who went on a business trip almost a week now.
He had only called her once and hadn't called again. All Willow wanted was to hear his voice, she missed him but only his voice now will sooth her heart.
But the wish to hear his voice aren't coming forth "Maybe he is busy" These were the words she kept telling herself since these past few days.
"Ma'am" Came Nova's voice but Willow was still lost staring down on her phone.
Nova stared at her with worries filled in her eyes, she is Willow's maid. She slowly walked closer to her and tapped her.
"Ma'am" She called again and this time, she got her attention. Willow slowly looked up at her, she flashed a simple smile at her. Nova saw it in her eyes, her golden eyes seemed blank.
Her joyful and full of fun Madam is now so lonely and sadic just because she missed her darling husband.
"Nova" Came her enchanting voice, Nova hasn't seen someone with such an angelic voice, she doesn't sing but her tiny beautiful voice seems as if she is a singer.
Nova wished her beautiful madam would devote herself to singing but no... Willow doesn't want that...She just doesn't sing but was blessed with a voice so tiny and beautiful.
"Hasn't he called yet ma?" Nova asked,she is a young beautiful girl, whom Willow picked from the streets...she wanted to train and keep her like a sister since she had only a brother.
But Willow's quest wasn't granted because her husband denied it, only on one condition that Nova will live with them...but she will just be a maid. Willow, being a doting and peaceful wife, accepted the condition, but this didn't stop her from treating Nova like a sister.
"No" Willow shook her head and stared down at her phone. Nova flashed a smile at her"Don't worry he will call you, you don't have to worry too much"
Willow licked her dried lips, sighing out"How long will it take for him to call Nova? it's been Six days now and he hasn't called...what if..."
"No man, don't think like that, all is well with him, but you called his secretary yesterday right?" Nova asked.
"Yes I did," Willow nodded. "She just gave me the information that Wyatt is busy" She added looking up immediately at her, Nova responded with a simple smile.
"That's the reason why he hasn't called ma'am, he is so busy, when he is less busy he will call you" Willow hearing this sighed.
"No matter how busy he is, he could just make out time to call me. If he is too busy and can't call, at least he should pick my own calls," she said.
Nova shook her head, she knew persuading her to give up will be a failed mission. "Okay, but won't you go inside and rest?" She asked.
"Am not done watching this program" Came Willow's mutter. Nova nodded, another thing about Willow is that she is stubborn, if anyone didn't know about that...She Nova knew about it.
"Do you need any late night snacks?"Nova asked, since the past few days that Wyatt travelled...she has been making late night snacks for her, because Willow will stay up all night waiting for her husband's call.
Nova always felt bad for her, she wished her boss would just come back so that her madam would go back to being happy and joyful.
Willow looked up at her"Dessert" and she responded, Nova nodded and walked away.
"Add some strawberries to it" Willow said with a little high tone, because Nova had walked a little bit far, Nova hearing this turned around to look at her "Okay ma" She smiled and walked away until she was out of Willow's sight.
Just then Willow's phone started vibrating, a heart warming smile immediately appeared on her beautiful small face, she instantly stared down at her phone... seeing the caller ID her smile immediately died down.
"Hello Gianna" She said with a low tone when she picked the call.
"Hello girlfriend" Came Gianna's voice, she is her best friend. "Why that tone? I don't like it"
Willow sighed out" Don't Tell me you are still up waiting for Wyatt's call?" Gianna asked.
"Yes No" Willow responded.
"What do you mean yes and No, I know you are up waiting for his call, come on girlfriend, you should stop this your childish act" Gianna scolded.
"Childish act? You call it a childish act?" Willow asked feeling a little bit offended, one thing about Gianna is that she always pops out words without thinking,not filtering it at all.
"Yes Willow, is so childish to be up waiting for a man to call you, whilst he is out there enjoying and satisfying himself" Gianna said.
"Stop Gianna, my husband isn't like that, I am ending this call if this is the reason you called me" Willow warned.
"Calm down girlfriend, you know they say truth is bitter...I will always say this that you are really giving this man your all and it isn't right, give him some fucking space" Gianna hissed.
Willow sighed out "Listen I despise this, you should stop already, he is my lawfully wedded husband and giving him my all is not an issue, it means that I care and love him a lot and he loves me too"
"You are been clingy_girlfriend," Gianna laughed out.
"Am hanging up Gianna" Came Willow's voice. "Don't try it Willow" Gianna warned.
"Am watching a T V program and you are really disrupting me off this important and wonderful ..."
"You mean you are waiting for your doting husband's call?" Came Gianna's mocking voice.
"Goodnight see you tomorrow" Willow immediately hung up the call.
"Here it is ma'am" Nova handed over the dessert to her.
"Thank you" Willow smiled.
