The boy inside the basement slowly became transparent.
Like smoke in the wind.
Arman looked at him silently.
"Are you leaving?" Arman asked.
The boy nodded.
"Yes. The seal is closing."
The girl with empty eyes stood beside Arman.
Her voice was very soft,
"You saved us."
Arman felt something warm inside his chest.
Peace.
But sadness too.
The black blood on the floor slowly dried and became black stone.
The basement wall stopped shaking.
The boy's body became almost invisible.
"Brother…" the boy said.
Arman answered,
"Yes?"
"Don't open the door again… even if you forget everything."
Arman closed his eyes.
"I promise."
The boy smiled one last time.
And disappeared into the darkness.
