The basement wall cracked slowly.
A dark sound came from inside.
Crack… crack…
Arman opened his eyes.
The girl with empty eyes was watching him silently.
"Do you want to leave?" she asked.
Arman shook his head.
"No."
The red glowing eyes behind her became smaller.
The woman's angry voice whispered,
"You are changing the destiny of this house."
Arman said quietly,
"I am remembering who I am."
Suddenly, a child's crying sound came from inside the broken wall.
Very weak.
Very old.
"Help me…"
The girl covered her ears.
"Stop it!" she shouted.
Arman walked closer to the wall.
Dust fell from the cracked stone.
Slowly, he spoke,
"I died here as a child."
Silence filled the basement.
Then the child's voice said,
"Brother… you promised to open the door."
The girl's body started shaking.
The clock outside started moving again.
But very slowly.
And the wall cracked more, as if something was trying to wake up.
