Half an hour later, the trio left the apartment dressed neatly. When Liora noticed the luxurious car parked in front of the building, she whispered to James. "Big Brother, let's avoid her."
Liora was taught by James to be careful with people, especially rich people, because they were mostly arrogant pricks.
James only laughed and patted her sister's hair as he continued to walk toward the car.
The moment they arrived in front of the car, James tilted his head and asked Liora with a smile. "Where do you want to sit? At the front or back seat?"
"Huh?" Liora was puzzled, looking at his brother with confusion.
"This is Kai's car, I bought it for him when I told him to come before." James explained as he threw the key to Kai.
He then pointed his finger at Lan Yaolei. "This is Lan Yaolei. She is a really strong awakener and works for me to be our bodyguard."
"Hello, young miss." Lan Yaolei smiled and bowed slightly.
Looking at his sister's blank expression, James smiled and patted her head. "Your big brother is a multi-millionaire now."
"Really?" Liora blinked her eyes a few times.
"Of course, look!" James chuckled and showed his money in his bank account.
"One, two, three… 7 digits! What?!" Liora was shocked, opening her mouth and covering it with her hands cutely.
"See? I told—"
"Big Brother James, you said that I could eat whatever I want, right? So… Can we go to a restaurant to eat a steak? Or at least buy the raw one and we cook it ourselves, pweasee??" Liora looked at James with a begging but cute expression as if she would cry if James rejected it.
James laughed loudly and patted her head with a smile. "Of course, we will go to a fancy restaurant, and you can eat as much as you want at that time."
"Yeayyy! Big Brother James is the best!" Liora became overjoyed and jumped into his arms again.
At the side, Lan Yaolei took a note that James really loves his little sister.
Subsequently, they went inside the car and went toward the next destination that James had in mind. Inside the car, Liora was busy looking around the car as she sat on James's lap.
James actually didn't want her to sit on his lap because she's already a 9 year old girl and there wasn't going to be much space left, unlike when she was still 5 years old or younger. But she was too stubborn and said to let her be this time.
Around 15 minutes later, Kai parked the car in front of a showroom.
"We're here!" Kai said softly.
"What are we doing here?" Liora asked Kai curiously.
"Brother James said that he wanted to buy a villa to be our new home." Kai chuckled as he opened the door and got out of the car.
"Is that true?" Liora looked at James excitedly.
"Yeah, we're going to start a new lifestyle as rich people from now on." James smiled and petted her hair softly.
"Big Brother James, why don't we just save the money in case something happens in the future?" Liora looked at James with a worried expression.
Liora had been taught by James a lot of things because they were poor and powerless. Saving money as much as possible was one of them.

'I'm sorry that I couldn't treat you like the little princess that you deserve, Liora.' James sighed and felt warm in his heart as Liora still remembered his teaching.

Just as James was about to get out of the car, he noticed a familiar figure standing at the showroom entrance.
'Is that her?' James squinted his eyes for a moment, then nodded his head. 'Yup, it's her. But why is she working here? Isn't her family rich?'
"What are you thinking?" Liora tugged James's clothes softly.
"I just saw someone I know, that's all." James replied with a smile and got out of the car.
"Who is it?" Liora asked.
"You'll know later." James chuckled and walked toward the showroom with the others.
"Hi, Selene… Long time no see." James came toward the girl and waved.
"It's you, James! What are you doing here? Are you looking for a job?" Selene was surprised and waved back with a smile.
"No, I'm not looking for a job." James shook his head and asked. "What about you? Are you working here now? What happened to your family?"
Selene raised an eyebrow when she heard that James wasn't here to look for a job, then smiled bitterly as she answered the questions. "Yes, I'm working here part-time because my family's business was faced with bankruptcy and my mom is in the hospital now."
Before James could respond, he was surprised as he heard system notifications that he had never expected would come at this time.
