In the middle of the day, the bright sun warmed the air and Loubin skin, he loved that feeling. It remind him of the past, a past where he used to spend time with his grandparents in their backyard. His family always were a bit delicate to the sun thanks to their white skin but they still love the warm feeling of the sun, it reminded them of the warm of their loved ones, eventually Loubin would get to love the same things as their grandparents. Days like this really made him feel nostalgic of the past.
'What an interesting day and week has been, just when I finally got hired there's a day like this, I wonder if this is some kind of sign.'
After a long 3 years of working in the force, Loubin had finally achieve his goal of becoming a police detective. A dream he had ever since his retired grandpa said stories about the good he had done in his work, thought the 3 years he had gone through was not a child's play at all. He had been train to used guns, white weapons and his abilities in some extreme manner given that by fate's laugh he was send to some very hectic locations on his second year.
He entered his sergeant office and present himself in a very respectful manner.
'Hello sir! My name is Loubin Misrislay. It's a privilege to be able to work under your wing in this offices sergeant Morgan'
The season looked sergeant answered.
'I'd have to say Misrislay, the pleasure it's mine. I read documents about your achievements in Alaska, I'd have to say the things you di-'
'I'm sorry sir, but it has been a while since all of that happened and It's hard to re live those horrible times'
Having interrupted his new boss Loubin had felt a bit nervous but the reminiscent of the event of those 3 years were not something he wanted to have in his head at this precise time.
Fortunately sergeant Morgan understood Loubin struggle, he had read the files to its full entirety and the events new police officer Loubin at the time were not something a brand new officer should ever deal with.
'There's nothing to be sorry son, changing of subject. I'd like to welcome you to our modest offices. We are a branch that's a bit separate of the main forces hence, that's why we are a bit far apart from them. Lucky, that gives us more freedom than other detectives. Thought some of the cases we get send are a bit to harsh.'
Loubin spends rest of the day getting to know his fellow detectives, offices were more humble than he thought they could have been, regardless he felt excited for this new chapter of his life.
After his first day he receives his first job from sergeant Morgan, maybe the sergeant wanted to check if Loubin was truly qualified and this was a test, whether it was the case or not he did not have a way to know for sure. The task he was given was the investigation of a domestic violence case, the grandma of the wife involved in the case put the case to their offices. It could be say is a self-contain case. Just a normal domestic violence investigation. He thought to himself that with a case like that things have a hard time to go south.
