It's been 2 days since they killed Balor.
I've yet to leave my room or talk to anyone.
[Why would they do that?]
Tears begin to flow again.
[Why would they kill him?]
[He never did anything wrong.]
[He was always helping others, and never got into any trouble.]
[So Why!]
I reach my limit and the tears pour out even faster, dropping onto the floor.
"I can't!"
"My lady, are you okay?"
A voice outside the door says.
Knock! Knock!
"My lady?"
"L-leave me alone!" I barely manage to scream out.
[Why can't they just leave me alone.]
I barely manage to get up from the floor and lay on my bed.
[We were supposed to keep training together.]
[A-and one day h–h-hopefully get married.]
[So why!] The tiers block away my vision.
— Mia you weren't supposed to be here.
[Did he know?]
[Why would he say that if he didnt.]
[I can't believe he would do something like that.]
My grip on the bed sheets gets tighter.
[I thought we were friends, that we cared about each other.]
[Why would a knight do that?]
[Could it be..]
[No he wouldn't do that.]
[And his father wouldn't allow it either.]
[So then why? AHH!]
"I hate it here."
[Maybe I should leave.]
[I feel like I'm going to explode if I stay here any longer.]
[Where would I go?]
[It doesn't matter as long as I'm not here.]
"I'll pack a bag and leave tonight."
I wipe my tears before getting up to pack.
I stuff everything into a white leather bag.
Without forgetting the coins I have saved up.
I change into some warm clothes as it's usually cold at night.

[It's about time I leave.]
I quietly open my window and throw my bag down.
The night sky shines on me as I climb down the wall.
I duck as I walk past the windows.
And head to the barn.
A guard almost spots me and I hide behind a wall.
He turns around and I dash past him.
[These guards suck.]
I walk around looking into every staple.
"Here you are."
I throw my bags over my horse.
As I go to get on, a hand grabs me.
It's Linda.
"My lady, where are you going?"
"My lady.. my lady?" She shakes me around.
"Im leaving okay."
"I can't be here for another second. I hate it, I hate everyone."
"What- what are you talking about?"
"Why do you say that my lady?"
Tears pour out of my eyes. "T– they k-killed him."
"They just killed him." I look towards the ground.
"What?.. Who killed who my lady?"
I try to quiet down the cries so as to not alert the guards.
"Balor… they killed Balor."
With a sudden shock she looks at me and hugs me.
"Oh, my lady, I am so sorry." Tears slowly start to flow down her eyes.
"I-I know you loved him. We all did."
I drop and start crying harder.
With a loud gasp she says. "Could it be.. No."
My tears stop for a second and I look at her.
"My.. my lady, do you know who killed him?"
"It.. it was a guard."
She falls onto her knees and tears start to pour even faster.
"No.. is.. is that what they meant?"
"But why would they."
"Linda what– what's going on?"
"What happened?"
"I-I have to tell you something my lady."
"What is it?"
"I can't say it here."
"Lets head back my lady, please!"
"I– I can't."
"Please, the kingdom needs you."
"You are the future of this kingdom."
She looks up to me. Stuttering over her own words because of the tears.
"I–I'll tell you if you come back."
After some thinking, I decided to stay.
We walk through the main door and get back up to my room.
The second the door closes Linda falls to her knees and starts crying.
"Are you okay?"
"Linda?"
"M–my lady, you m–mustn't tell anyone about this."
"What I am about to tell you, can't leave this room."
"My lady.."
"I–it was your f–father!"
