Chapter 15 - Midnight at the Clock Tower

The city was silent as Aarav approached the ancient clock tower. Moonlight cast eerie shadows, and the cold wind bit at his skin.

He clutched the notebook tightly. Each step echoed in the empty streets.

Inside the tower, the giant clock loomed above him, its hands frozen at 11:59.

A voice whispered behind him: "Aarav…"

He spun around. Riya stood there, but her eyes were different—distant, confused.

"I… I don't remember you," she said softly, voice trembling.

Aarav's chest tightened. "Riya… it's me. Aarav. We… we met, we—"

Tears welled up in her eyes. "I'm sorry… I don't know you. I…"

Aarav stepped forward. "You will. You have to. I'll make you remember."

Time swirled around them. The clock began to tick, fast—faster. Light and shadow twisted. Aarav realized that the world itself was rebelling against their love.

But in that moment, holding the notebook and remembering every word, every touch, every heartbeat, he felt the power of their bond. He reached out.

"Riya… come back to me!"

The world wavered. The wind screamed. And then—silence.
