Chapter 21 -  The Seal on the Tail Is Lifted

"I can't directly make your tail grow back," Kami replied, "but I can remove the divine seal I placed on it."

He hesitated for a moment, then asked uncertainly, "Goku… are you sure you really want your tail back? That Saiyan called Vegeta wasn't wrong. When you turn into a Great Ape, you lose your rationality."

"That won't happen anymore," Goku laughed. "Come on, hurry up and remove the seal."

As he spoke, Goku scratched his head, feeling a little troubled.

Back then, I actually used such a stupid method to rip my tail out by force.

Just thinking about it hurts.

So that's why my tail never grew back… it was sealed by Kami's divine power.

Wait.

Vegeta's tail…

In my original timeline, I remember Yajirobe cut it off with one strike.

And after that, it never grew back either.

"Hey, Kami," Goku suddenly thought of something and asked quickly, "can you seal someone's tail from far away?"

"What do you mean?" Kami was startled.

"For example, if I'm at home, could you seal my tail from here at the Lookout?" Goku asked.

"Yes," Kami nodded. "As long as I cover it with invisible divine energy, it's easy to do."

Goku suddenly understood.

So that's it.

Vegetta's tail probably never grew back because Kami secretly sealed it too.

Most likely, after Vegeta was revived and came to Earth, Kami worried he might cause trouble and quietly sealed his tail.

Later, the matter was forgotten.

That was probably why neither Vegeta nor I ever regrew our tails.

"Please remove the seal for me, Kami," Goku urged.

"It's already been removed," Kami said with a smile.

"Huh? Already?" Goku was stunned. "But… I didn't see you do anything."

"There's no need for any special action," Kami replied calmly. "I just dispersed the divine power I left behind."

"That's great!" Goku was overjoyed and rubbed his hands together. "So… my tail will grow back suddenly like when I was a kid?"

"More or less," Kami nodded.

"Thank you, Kami! I'm heading out!" Goku waved.

"Whoosh!"

In an instant, he vanished.

In the Wilderness

"Why do you keep following me?" Piccolo glared at Gohan behind him and said impatiently.

Gohan lowered his head, poking his fingers together, looking aggrieved.

"Hurry up and go home," Piccolo snorted. "Your mom told you to go back for dinner!"

"I… I want to train with you, Uncle Piccolo," Gohan gathered his courage and said, clenching his fists.

"Don't be ridiculous!" Piccolo rolled his eyes. "Your dad is already ridiculously strong. You should train with him!"

"And didn't you say yourself that you want to become a great scholar? What's the point of training now? Besides, the Saiyans are already defeated!"

"Um…" Gohan hesitated, not knowing how to respond.

"Whoosh!"

At that moment, Goku appeared out of nowhere.

"Dad!" Gohan cried happily and threw himself into Goku's arms.

Goku lifted him up and placed him on his shoulder.

"Son Goku…" Piccolo felt complicated inside.

In less than a year, Goku had become unimaginably strong.

"Piccolo, how about I take you somewhere to train?" Goku asked with a smile.

"Somewhere to train? Where?" Piccolo was puzzled.

"King Kai's planet!" Goku laughed. "The gravity there is ten times Earth's. Training there will give twice the results with half the effort!"

"King Kai's planet?" Piccolo raised an eyebrow. "Isn't that… a place only dead people can go?"

"It's fine. I can use Instant Transmission to take you there," Goku said confidently.

Piccolo fell silent.

After a brief pause, he stared at Goku and said with a sneer:

"Son Goku, you should understand something. Helping me become stronger isn't good for you. Don't forget—my ultimate goal is still to kill you and rule the world!"

"Hahaha, Piccolo, you're really funny," Goku laughed and casually patted him.

"Bang!"

Piccolo was sent flying like a cannonball, slamming into the ground and rolling more than ten times before stopping.

"Pfft—!"

He spat out a mouthful of blood, feeling like his whole body was falling apart.

Gohan was completely terrified, his face turning pale.

"Uncle Piccolo!" Gohan cried out.

"Ah! Piccolo, I'm so sorry!" Goku panicked and rushed over. "I used too much strength by accident!"

He hurriedly pulled Piccolo up.

Piccolo felt like every bone in his body had cracked.

"I'll find someone to heal you. You'll be fine in no time!" Goku said.

Then he grabbed Piccolo and told Gohan, "Gohan, don't move!"

"Yes, Dad," Gohan nodded obediently.

"Let go of me!" Piccolo snapped. "I don't need healing! This little injury is nothing!"

"Alright then, never mind," Goku said and released him.

"So you're trying to beat me to death and send me to the afterlife, huh?" Piccolo snorted. "Fine. Thanks for your kindness. Let's go."

"Dad… I want to train with Uncle Piccolo too," Gohan said stubbornly.

"You want to train too?" Goku smiled. "Alright, let's go together."

Without hesitation, he grabbed Piccolo and Gohan.

"Whoosh!"

In a flash, they appeared on King Kai's planet.

King Kai's Planet

The moment Piccolo and Gohan arrived, overwhelming gravity pressed down on them.

Piccolo clenched his teeth, struggling to keep himself upright.

Gohan, however, lost balance and collapsed flat onto the ground, completely pinned.

"King Kai, I'm back!" Goku waved cheerfully.

King Kai: "..."

"King Kai, I brought Piccolo and my son Gohan here to train. You don't mind, right?" Goku asked.

King Kai's face turned pitch black.

You already brought them here, and now you're asking if I mind?!

Do you even know what manners are?!

"Since you don't mind, I'll bring more people later," Goku laughed. "Krillin and the others need to get stronger too!"

Piccolo's face darkened.

"So… we don't have to die to come here?" he asked coldly.

Goku: "..."

"No, you don't," Goku replied.
