Chapter 226 - Chapter 226: Son Goku: Roasted Whole Goat? Add Some Cumin for Flavor!

"God of Destruction?" Moro froze in place, shaking his head in bewilderment. "I've never heard of a God of Destruction. What kind of position is that? Is it more powerful than a Supreme Kai?"

"You've lived for ten million years and never heard of a God of Destruction?" Champa snorted, his tone full of mockery. "You really are ignorant! Compared to a God of Destruction, a Supreme Kai isn't even worth mentioning!"

"I don't care if you're a God of Destruction or a Supreme Kai! I am Moro, the Consumer of Worlds, the strongest existence in the universe! My status is above all gods!" Moro roared, clearly not believing Champa's words. He suddenly raised both hands, and the magic in his body surged wildly into the ground.

Boom!

Instantly, the ground beneath Champa's feet shook violently, and a roaring flame erupted from the earth, forming a massive pillar of fire that completely engulfed Champa. The temperature of the flames was so high that even the distant rocks began to melt, and the air was filled with a scorching scent.

"Hahaha! So what if you're a God of Destruction? This is the planetary core energy I've absorbed—it's enough to burn you severely! Just wait to be turned to ash!" Moro laughed maniacally, his eyes full of triumph. He believed this move would definitely defeat Champa.

And then... there was no "then."

A few seconds later, the flames slowly dissipated. Champa still stood in place, his clothes without a single scorch mark, not even a hair out of place. However, his face had become exceptionally dark, and the Destruction energy around him began to surge wildly. He was clearly annoyed by Moro's actions.

"What... this... this is impossible, absolutely impossible!" Moro's eyes widened in shock, the smile on his face instantly freezing as his body began to tremble uncontrollably. His proudest ultimate move hadn't even damaged the opponent's clothes?

"Is this your final trump card? With only this much ability, you dare call yourself the strongest in the universe?" Champa snorted, his tone full of disdain, as he walked toward Moro step by step.

"I... I... I..." Moro was terrified, his legs shaking and his eyes full of fear. He finally understood that the gap between him and Champa was like that of an ant and an elephant—completely insurmountable.

After a brief hesitation...

Plop!

Moro's legs gave out, and he knelt directly before Champa, not daring to lift his head. His voice carried a sob: "I know I was wrong, I'll never do it again, please let me go!"

"What? Begging for mercy already? I still preferred your arrogant look from earlier; it was more fun to fight that way." Champa snorted, stepping forward and patting Moro's cheek with his paw, his tone full of mockery.

"I know I was wrong, I really know I was wrong, please spare me." Moro trembled with fear, his face as pale as paper, not even daring to breathe loudly.

"You don't know you were wrong; you just know you can't beat me, so you've chickened out," Champa chuckled, seeing right through Moro's thoughts.

Moro remained silent. You're so right, I don't even know how to argue back.

Champa suddenly turned around, looking at Goku, Cabba, and the others with a smile, asking in a relaxed tone, "Have you eaten? I'm a bit hungry and want to treat you to something."

Goku instantly realized something and nodded quickly, saying urgently, "We've eaten, we've already eaten, we're not hungry at all." Goku didn't want to go eat in the cat litter again; the scene was disgusting just thinking about it.

Cabba and Hit also nodded quickly, saying they had already eaten, even patting their stomachs to pretend they were full.

"I only need to drink water, no need for food," Piccolo added quickly, fearing Champa would drag him to eat something strange.

"Tch, I was going to treat you to roasted whole goat, but since you've all eaten, forget it." Champa gave Goku and the others a side-eye, his tone full of disappointment.

Moro: "..."

Moro was instantly horrified, his face becoming as ugly as it could be, and his body shook even more violently. Roasted whole goat? Is he going to roast me? Are you a demon? You actually want to roast and eat me!

Bang!

Champa suddenly slapped Moro across the face. The force was so great it distorted Moro's face, sending him tumbling across the ground several times before he landed face-down, blood flowing from the corner of his mouth. Moro struggled to crawl up, only to find his abilities sealed once again. The magic in his body couldn't be moved at all. He lay on the ground in despair, his eyes full of fear.

"Cabba, have you ever made roasted whole goat? I heard your culinary skills are quite good." Champa looked at Cabba with a smile, his tone carrying a bit of expectation.

"This... I made it a few times back on Sadala, but it might not be good. Please don't mind it." Cabba's mouth twitched. Lord Champa wouldn't really roast Moro, would he?

"It's fine as long as it's edible. This guy's meat looks decent, should be quite tender." As Champa spoke, he lifted his right hand slightly.

Snap!

A long iron skewer appeared in Champa's hand. Aiming at Moro's backside, he pushed hard, driving the skewer in.

"Ah..."

Moro let out a shrill, pig-like shriek. However, before his cry could be fully vented, the iron skewer extended out from his mouth, piercing through his body.

"Ah... ah... ah..."

Moro lay on the ground, his body twitching, his eyes full of despair, without even the strength to struggle.

Goku and the others stood to the side, speechless, their faces full of awkwardness. They really hadn't expected Lord Champa to be serious; this "roasted whole goat" was too hardcore.

"By the way, if we're having roasted whole goat, I remember that sprinkling something called cumin on it makes it delicious and the flavor more intense," Goku scratched his head and remarked seriously, as if discussing a real roasted whole goat.

Moro: "..."

Son Goku, you bastard!

"Cumin? What's that? Sounds like food." Champa had never heard the word and was instantly interested, his round eyes full of curiosity.

Moro lay on the iron skewer, his face exceptionally dark. This guy who calls himself a God of Destruction hasn't even seen cumin? Cumin and mutton are clearly a perfect match; how can someone not know?

Pah! Why am I getting myself caught up in this? I'm about to be roasted, and I'm still thinking about food! Also, I was actually defeated by such an ignorant guy—it's too frustrating!

"How should I explain it?" Goku rubbed his chin, his brow slightly furrowed, not knowing how to describe it accurately. "It's a kind of powder sprinkled on roasted meat. After sprinkling it, it becomes especially fragrant and tastes better."

"Cabba, do we have this thing called cumin in our Universe 6?" Champa turned to ask Cabba, his tone full of expectation, as if he could already smell the roasted meat.

"I heard the elders in the tribe mention it. Supposedly, on Planet Ralph-Te-La, they have this spice, and all the roasted meat there is sprinkled with it." Cabba pondered for a moment, trying to recall information about cumin.

"Yeah, yeah, and add some chili, the extra spicy kind—it's especially satisfying to eat!" Goku nodded quickly, adding seriously as if he had already tasted it.

Moro trembled with rage, cursing Goku in his heart. It's one thing to get cumin, but you specifically want it extra spicy! Are you trying to make me taste worse, or do you want me to die more painfully?

"Extra spicy? Does cumin come in spicy and non-spicy versions?" Champa was stunned again, his eyes full of confusion, completely not understanding what Goku and Cabba were talking about.

Cabba: "..."

Cabba silently wiped the sweat from his forehead. I said the planet's name is 'Ralph-Te-La,' not that the cumin is extra spicy! How did it get misunderstood?

"I'll go get it right away!" Cabba didn't dare explain, fearing the more he said, the more confusing it would get. He could only scratch his head and say, "But I don't have a spaceship; going to Planet Ralph-Te-La will take some time."

"Vados, give him the Flight Cube so he can go and come back quickly." Champa ordered Vados directly, his tone full of urgency, fearing the roasted meat would be delayed.

"Alright, Lord Champa." Vados didn't object and agreed readily, pointing her staff at the ground.

Snap!

A flash of white light appeared, and an eight-meter-square transparent cube appeared on the scene, its bottom glowing with a faint blue light.

"Using this Flight Cube to go to Planet Ralph-Te-La will only take about 20 minutes round trip—much faster than a spaceship." Vados explained patiently with a smile, gesturing for Cabba to get on.

"That fast? Great!" Cabba was excited and quickly stepped onto the Flight Cube. He turned to remind Champa and Goku, "By the way, it's best to sprinkle the cumin and chili powder when the mutton is roasted to a golden brown. Make sure to wait for me to come back before sprinkling; don't put it on early!"

"Is that so? Son Goku, is Cabba right?" Champa turned to ask Goku, fearing he would mess up the steps and affect the taste of the meat.

"He's right. Sprinkling it when it's too tender or too charred won't taste good. You have to sprinkle it when the outer skin is a bit crispy." Goku nodded, speaking with authority as if he were a roasting expert.

"Hurry up and go, come back quickly, don't delay the roasted meat!" Champa waved his hand, urging Cabba to set off, but his eyes stayed fixed on Moro over the fire, and he swallowed his saliva.

Whoosh!

Cabba took the Flight Cube, turning into a transparent streak of light, quickly leaving the God of Destruction's realm and heading toward Planet Ralph-Te-La.

Champa then turned to Hit and ordered, "Hit, you're in charge of the fire and turning it. Don't let the meat char, and don't undercook it—it should be crispy on the outside and tender on the inside."

Hit, of course, wouldn't refuse the God of Destruction's order. He silently walked to the fire, picked up a long wooden stick, and lightly nudged the iron skewer, turning Moro's body so the fire would roast every part evenly.

Poor Moro was thus suspended over the fire, watching the flames lick his body, without even the strength to struggle, only able to let himself be roasted alive.

And so, Moro died.

Goku stood to the side watching the show, arms crossed, grinning foolishly. From time to time, he even leaned toward the fire to smell the fragrance of the roasting meat, completely without a shred of sympathy. You have to know, the Son Goku of the GT timeline is not some saint; when he was a child on Mount Paozu, he had even eaten talking beasts. So even if Moro was roasted and eaten, Goku had no psychological burden; instead, he felt this was punishment for Moro's evil deeds.

"Hit, do you eat goat whip? I heard this part is the most nourishing when roasted; it must be especially fragrant with cumin." Goku suddenly leaned toward Hit and asked seriously.

Hit: "..."

Hit's face turned pitch black in an instant. The hand he was using to hold the wooden stick began to shake slightly, and his eyes were filled with a cold, murderous intent.

Was this guy Goku really making fun of him right now?

"I'm not eating it!" Hit said, shaking his head coldly. His voice was full of rejection, and he didn't even want to look at Goku for a second.

"But seriously, that thing looks just like your head," Goku said, completely missing Hit's growing rage. He even let out a hearty laugh, pointing at a specific part of the meat on the iron skewer.

Hit's face went from black to even darker. He was so angry he was practically vibrating, and the energy around him turned ice-cold.

If it weren't for the fact that Champa was right there, Hit probably would have attacked Goku already.

Then again, I probably can't beat him anyway.

Champa, watching from the side, burst into a loud laugh. His shoulders shook as he found Goku's teasing absolutely hilarious.

Once Moro had been roasted to a perfect golden-brown, with the skin turning slightly crispy and the air filling with the delicious smell of meat, Cabba finally returned with the cumin and chili powder.

As soon as Cabba landed, he immediately grabbed the cumin powder and began sprinkling it evenly over Moro's body, followed by a thick layer of bright red chili powder.

In an instant, a rich, mouth-watering aroma filled the air, making Champa's mouth water.

The roast sheep, combined with the cumin and chili, was indeed incredibly delicious. It was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a perfect balance of spice and fragrance.

Champa ate until his face was covered in grease and his belly was stretched round. He truly felt the ultimate pleasure on his taste buds, repeatedly claiming it was the best roast meat he had ever tasted in his life.

...

After they finished the roast sheep feast.

Goku decided to follow Cabba to Planet Sadala. He wanted to meet the King of the Universe 6 Saiyans—King Sadala.

Piccolo followed along behind them the entire time. He didn't have much to do, so he just played the role of a bystander, occasionally taking in the scenery of Planet Sadala.

As for Hit, he said he had important business to take care of back on his own planet, so he left right after the meal.

Goku knew the truth, though. Hit was likely heading back to train as hard as he could. After losing to Goku, Hit definitely felt a sting of resentment and wanted to close the gap as quickly as possible so they could spar again.

King Sadala sat on his throne in the palace. He had a small black mustache, a golden crown, and a long red cape. He looked quite majestic, and he gave off a powerful aura.

When he heard that Goku was a Saiyan from Universe 7, King Sadala was very welcoming. He personally hosted a banquet for Goku and Piccolo, filling the palace with all sorts of delicious food and fine wine.

"I never expected to meet a Saiyan from Universe 7! This is a rare occasion. I believe this is the first time the Saiyans of our two universes have had such a formal meeting," King Sadala said, raising his glass with a look of deep reflection.

"Hahaha, yeah! I'm also seeing Universe 6 Saiyans for the first time. You guys look pretty much the same as the ones from my universe," Goku said, nodding and scratching his head. "But our Planet Sadala was destroyed a long time ago. The Saiyans moved to Planet Plant, and later, Vegeta's ancestor took over the whole planet and renamed it Planet Vegeta."

"Is that so? It seems the development of our two races was completely different!" King Sadala nodded, his eyes wide with surprise. "Our Planet Sadala has always been stable, and the Saiyans have lived and thrived here for generations."

"Yeah, there's definitely a big difference," Goku smiled, picking up a piece of roast meat and taking a huge bite.

"I heard from Cabba that the Saiyans of Universe 7 are very strong," King Sadala said, his interest piqued. He asked with a smile, "Are you interested in a spar? I'd love to see just how powerful the strongest Saiyan of Universe 7 really is."

Cabba's face instantly froze, turning pale as a ghost. His heart skipped a beat.

My King!

Why are you being so impulsive?

Please, don't go looking for a beating!

This Goku's strength is almost on par with Lord Champa. You aren't even in his league!

Cabba had heard this directly from Hit. Hit had run off halfway through to train precisely because he felt the gap between him and Goku was too massive.

"Oh! I heard from Cabba that you're the strongest Saiyan on this planet. Sparring with you sounds like a lot of fun!" Goku said, rubbing his hands together. His eyes were sparkling with excitement; he'd been wanting to find a strong Saiyan to fight for a while now.

Cabba completely panicked. He leaned in close to King Sadala's ear and whispered urgently, "My King, Goku's strength is close to Lord Champa's! You aren't his match. Whatever you do, do NOT spar with him!"

The smile on King Sadala's face froze instantly. His lip twitched, and his eyes were full of disbelief.

This guy is as strong as the God of Destruction, Lord Champa?

Is this a joke?

If we really fight, I probably won't even survive one move!

I can barely handle Lord Champa's pressure on a normal day. How could I possibly fight Goku?

"Why are you only telling me this now?! What were you doing earlier?!" King Sadala hissed, glaring at Cabba with frustration. He was secretly relieved that Cabba had warned him in time, otherwise he would have made a complete fool of himself.

"Uh... I'm so sorry. I wasn't thinking and forgot to tell you beforehand," Cabba said, hanging his head in apology, not daring to look the King in the eye.

"How can he be that strong? Are you sure? You aren't lying to me, are you?" King Sadala still couldn't quite believe it, whispering back with a look of doubt.

"Hit told me himself. Hit saw Goku spar with Lord Champa with his own eyes, and they were evenly matched," Cabba explained quickly. "Hit ran home to train because he felt the gap was too big and he needed to get stronger fast."

King Sadala: "..."

King Sadala went completely silent. Every bit of his fighting spirit vanished in an instant, replaced only by a sense of relief.

"King Sadala, shall we start the spar? I'm all ready!" Goku said, rubbing his hands as he walked out to the open space outside the palace. He struck a fighting pose and asked with expectation.

"Uh... well... I just remembered! I have some very important things to do today. I have to handle the planet's government business, and I need to inspect the border defenses," King Sadala said, his eyelids twitching as he scrambled up from his throne. He quickly made up an excuse. "Let's save the spar for another time. At least until I've finished all this work."

"Huh? Really? That's unlucky," Goku said, scratching his head. He looked disappointed, having really thought he'd get a good fight in today.

"Cabba, make sure you take good care of Mr. Goku and his friend. Don't neglect our guests," King Sadala said, and before Goku could even respond, he turned and ran. He was moving so fast he was practically a blur, disappearing through the palace doors in the blink of an eye.

Cabba silently wiped the sweat from his forehead.

My King, you're such a chicken.

Running that fast just to avoid a spar with Goku.

"What's the important business King Sadala has to do? Does he need help? I'm pretty fast, I can help him finish up and then we can spar!" Goku shouted after the King's retreating back, his voice full of sincerity.

"No need! Don't worry about it! Just make yourselves at home! Whatever you want to eat or do, just have Cabba take you!" King Sadala shouted back without even turning his head, flying even faster now, terrified that Goku might actually catch up.

Goku stood there, staring at the spot where King Sadala had vanished, completely speechless.

Why did he just run away while we were talking?

Is he afraid he can't beat me?

After a short silence, Goku remembered something else and turned to look at Cabba.

"Oh, right, Cabba. Didn't you say that Renso in your universe is also very strong? Is he on Planet Sadala right now? I'd like to spar with him." Goku asked, his eyes full of hope, not having given up on finding an opponent yet.

Cabba quietly wiped his sweat and waved his hands quickly. "Lord Renso has gone out on a mission to another planet. He's not on Sadala right now, so you won't be able to see him for a while."

Cabba didn't dare let Renso spar with Goku.

Renso was strong, sure, but compared to Goku, he was nowhere near that level. Sending him in would just be sending him to get beaten up.

"Is that so? That's a real shame. I thought I'd finally get to spar with some of my own kind here," Goku said, his shoulders slumping in disappointment. He felt like this trip to Planet Sadala was turning out to be pretty boring.

As it turned out, Goku stayed on Planet Sadala for several days, but not a single person dared to spar with him.

King Sadala had already warned the entire population, telling all the Saiyans not to provoke Goku.

He specifically emphasized that Goku was as strong as a God of Destruction and that picking a fight with him was just asking for a beating!

No one was allowed to go and throw their life away!

Goku eventually felt bored to tears and couldn't stand staying there any longer. He decided to take Piccolo and head back to Universe 7's Earth.

Piccolo: "..."

Piccolo was completely speechless.

Coming along this time, I really had no chance to do anything. I was just a bystander the whole way, I didn't even get a chance to fight.

Well, whatever. I'll just consider it a vacation to Universe 6. At least I got to see a different Saiyan planet.

After returning to Earth, Goku's life settled back into a routine. Every day was spent either training or being with his family, with the occasional get-together with Krillin and the others.

After some time had passed, Goku felt that his training had hit a plateau. No matter how hard he worked, his strength wasn't showing any obvious improvement.

Goku decided it would be better to find Whis to train with. After all, Whis was an Angel and could teach him much more advanced techniques.

Right then, Goku pulled a special communicator out of his pocket.

Whis had given this to him specifically for contacting the Angels.

Goku pressed the call button to reach Whis.

However, the communicator rang for a long time, but Whis didn't pick up. There was only a busy signal.
