This is just an idea for TMR fanfic.
I have not seen a single well written, interesting piece of work on this trilogy and so I write this idea of a good storyline….
I hope for an experienced novel writer who has watched the Maze Runner trilogy to take this storyline as a reference for a complete fanfic novel if he/she is interested.
TMR: Project ARTHUR

This is a high-octane, emotionally resonant foundation. By combining the Super Soldier Serum (SSS) with Future Foresight, Arthur becomes the ultimate "silent guardian" of the Maze Runner universe.

1. THE CORE ANOMALY
* The Subject: Arthur, the "Original."
* The Serum: Injected with a pre-Maze Vanguard variant of the SSS. It didn't just enhance his muscles; it shielded his neural pathways.
* The Glitch: When WCKD triggered "The Swipe," Arthur's regenerative brain cells fought back. He didn't just keep his name—he kept everything. Every memory of the world falling, WCKD's betrayal, and the deaths of his friends in the "original" timeline.
PHASE I: THE LONG PATIENCE (The Glade Years)
Arthur arrives in the very first Box. For three years, he plays the "long game."
* The Shadow King: He joins the Builders to hide his true strength but becomes a Runner in secret. While others sleep, Arthur is in the Maze, moving at 40mph, mapping every blade and bolt.
* The Griever Hunter: He doesn't just run; he hunts. He learns to kill Grievers silently using high-tensile wire and SSS-strength, ensuring WCKD thinks the Maze is "glitching" rather than being conquered.
* The Social Pillar: He prevents Gally's descent into madness by mentoring him. He becomes the brother Newt needs and the strategist Alby relies on. He keeps the Glade from ever falling into chaos.
PHASE II: THE CATALYST (The Maze Escape)
Thomas arrives. The "Script" begins, but Arthur is the Director now.
* The Night of the Doors: When the Grievers flood the Glade, Arthur doesn't hide. He stands at the North Door and holds the line. The Gladers see a blur of steel and speed they can't explain.
* The Sacrifice: Arthur knows Gally will throw the knife at Chuck. He moves faster than humanly possible, taking the blade in the chest. His SSS-enhanced heart keeps beating. Chuck lives. * The Departure: As they exit the Maze, Arthur looks at the WCKD cameras. He doesn't look afraid. He looks ready.
PHASE III: THE DESERT GHOST (The Scorch Trials)
The Scorch is Arthur's element. While the Flare rots the world, Arthur's blood is the antidote.
* The Blood Anchor: Newt begins to show symptoms. Arthur performs a "living transfusion," using his own SSS-enriched blood to suppress the virus in Newt's system. It's a temporary fix, but it buys them time.
* The Combat Peak: In the Cranks' tunnels, Arthur fights with "Bucky Barnes" precision—minimal movement, maximum lethality. He is the group's human shield.
* The Confrontation: He corners Teresa before she can signal WCKD.
PHASE IV: THE LAST CITY (The Death Cure)
The story culminates in a surgical strike on the heart of WCKD.
* The Apex Target: Janson (The Rat Man) realizes Arthur is "Subject Zero." WCKD stops caring about the other Immunes; they want Arthur's DNA to build a new race of super-soldiers.
* The Tower Siege: Arthur leads the charge into the Last City. He doesn't use a gun; he uses the environment and his enhanced speed.
* The Survival: * Newt: Stabilized by Arthur's blood until a permanent cure is found.
* Teresa: Arthur physically holds up a collapsing support beam in the WCKD tower, allowing Thomas and Teresa to reach the Berg. He leaps into the ship at the last micro-second.
THE FINALE: THE FOUNDATION (The Island)
Ten years later, the Safe Haven is a thriving civilization.
* The Living Cure: Arthur's blood, mutated by the Flare and the SSS, is synthesized into a "Regulator." It doesn't cure the Flare, but it prevents the "Gone" state. Humanity can live again.
* The Ageless Guardian: Arthur doesn't age. He stays the same age he was when he entered the Maze—a permanent sentinel for the new world.
* The Legacy: He and Teresa have a quiet, complicated peace. She is the scientist; he is the foundation.
He is no longer "The Maze Runner." He is the Architect of the Future.
CHARACTER SNAPSHOT:
ARTHUR
* Tactical Style: "The Path of Most Resistance." He takes the hardest hits so no one else has to.
* The Flaw: Hyper-Metabolism. He requires massive caloric intake. In the Scorch, he often starves himself to feed the others, leading to moments of physical vulnerability.
* The Vibe: Calm, weary, but infinitely capable. He speaks softly because he doesn't need to shout to be heard.
OTHER IDEAS:
1. Add an R18 scene in the finale arc
2. Include admiration for his skills and attitude, along with feelings from other female leads….to make it spicy (if you know what I mean)
3. Please give a cool, nonchalant vibe to OC
