CHAPTER ONE : RIPPLE
Students chatter in the classroom .
A boy approaches Amit ,holding a pen .
THE BOY
Thanks Amit for letting me borrow your pen .
AMIT
Don' mention .
THE BOY
Good luck on the exams.
Amit nods .
3 hours later .
Golden hues flood the classroom.
Amit packs his bags and leaves .
On his way home , a fragile, small and scared kitten catches his eye
"Seems familiar" ,he thinks to himself .
Amit finally arrives home.
He opens the door .
MAURIS
How was school , young man
AMIT
Tiresome , as always
I'll wash up , tell mom I'm here
Amit went to wash up .
In his bath , he notices a swallow in its nest .
He chuckles to himself.
FERRA
AMIT!!-be quick , dinner is ready
AMIT finishes .
He arrives at the dinner table .
FERRA
Took you long enough.
Amit
C'mon , i just took about 15 mins.
MAURIS
Young man sit down . It is rude to stand while elders are sitting.
AMIT
Sure old man .
Amit took a sit .
Conversation and the sound of clicking cutlery filled the room.
A dusty adoption document sat idly on the counter .
After dinner , Amit goes to his room .
He sat at his desk and began reading .
Biology is confusing , he thinks .
Suddenly he feels a jarring pain in his chest .
"What the-", he thinks to himself
A ringing sound suddenly pierces through his head .
The environment looks distorted
His vision becomes black and white then blurry .
Amit loses consciousness
He wakes up.
His heart felt as if it was in his throat .
His eyes catch the wooden interior .
The oil lamp that was flickerimg omniously did not make the situation better .
The door opens .
A young woman enters the room .
She enters with a man whose eyes feel like divine judgement .
