Lucian had just sat down in the living room. His dad took his sisters shopping about two hours ago. His phone pings with a message from his sister Lizzy. It is an audio file, he clicks play. Lizzy's calm voice says. "The day has come. Charlie, you must stay strong for Mom. Farther has sold I and Millie to the Callisto family. Today he is handing us over to them. We will be given new Identities. All information about us before today will be wiped out. Stay safe and do not come looking for us. By the time you get this we have already been dropped off, but if anyone asks, tell them we are fine." The audio ends. Lucian stares blankly at his phone as he tries to understand what he just listened to. Why would Dad sell Lizzy and Millie? Does mom know? What should I do with this information? Go to the police?
