Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The First Day(18+)

One August morning, yet another clear day, sunlight streamed through the window, filling the room and gradually making it stuffy. Jiang Yun, still lazing in bed, was directly hit by the sunlight from the window. After tossing and turning a few times, he finally woke up.

"Haaah... ah..." Struggling to sit up, Jiang Yun let out a long yawn. The stuffiness in the room had already caused a fine layer of sweat to form on the tip of his nose. He turned and picked up the remote control beside him to turn on the air conditioner. A gust of cold air blew out with a "whoosh," making Jiang Yun, who was only wearing shorts, shiver. In an instant, his drowsiness vanished.

Jiang Yun, a student about to enter his second year of high school, was the typical "someone else's child"—obedient, academically outstanding, athletically gifted, and handsome with delicate features.

To outsiders, he seemed almost flawless. Parents of his classmates even used phrases like "Look at how Jiang Yun does this and that" to educate their own children, leading many classmates to feel a mix of envy and resentment toward him.

All of this was largely thanks to Jiang Yun's family. His father, Jiang Tianyi, was an engineer at a domestic listed company. However, because he was frequently away on business trips to oversee projects, his influence on Jiang Yun was minimal. The person who had the greatest impact on Jiang Yun was his mother, Lin Mengjie.

His mother, Lin Mengjie, was a high school teacher and, in fact, Jiang Yun's current homeroom teacher. Since Jiang Yun was very young, his father had often been away on business trips and rarely came home, so Lin Mengjie had almost single-handedly raised him. Due to her profession, she had always been very strict with her son, even more so than with her own students.

Jiang Yun, likely having inherited his parents' diligent nature, never went through a rebellious phase and had always been obedient. His parents were very satisfied with him.

In his first year of high school, Jiang Yun and Su Qing from the neighboring class became a couple. Su Qing had been a beauty since childhood, and as she grew older, she became even more adorable, charming, and captivating.

Her figure had developed earlier and more alluringly than most of her peers. Her personality was playful and cute but not pretentious. To make matters worse, her academic performance was among the top in her class. All of this made Su Qing the undisputed school belle in the eyes of everyone. Jiang Yun and Su Qing had been classmates from elementary school through middle school and had always been very close.

They often went to and from school together. After being placed in different classes in their first year of high school, they instead ended up confirming their romantic relationship. This development broke the hearts of countless male students who had secret crushes on Su Qing. Every day, when the two appeared at school together, they were met with a barrage of envious and resentful glances.

As for their early romance, neither set of parents objected much. Su Qing was not only adorable and beautiful but also one of the top students in her grade. Such a perfect daughter-in-law was quite satisfying to Jiang Yun's parents. As for Jiang Yun, his family conditions and upbringing were excellent, and Su Qing's parents found him very pleasing as well. After the two promised their parents that their relationship wouldn't affect their studies, both families let them be.

With his drowsiness gone, Jiang Yun stretched and got out of bed. He put on his clothes and headed to the kitchen to see if there was any breakfast. As soon as he opened the door, he heard his parents arguing.

"Jiang Tianyi! Drinking secretly first thing in the morning!"

Though dressed in a casual thin sweater, Lin Mengjie's years as a teacher had cultivated an imposing aura that remained undiminished.

At that moment, she was glaring with almond-shaped eyes at Jiang Tianyi, who had been sneaking a drink. Jiang Tianyi, unable to withstand his wife's formidable presence, hung his head like a child caught misbehaving.

"Ahem... well... there was just a little left from last night, and it would've been a waste not to drink it!"

"You, you! You get drunk at the slightest taste of alcohol, yet you still love drinking so much!"

Jiang Tianyi scratched his head and said nothing. Lin Mengjie turned around to tidy up the dishes, while Jiang Tianyi seized the moment she wasn't looking to down the remaining wine in his glass in one gulp.

"Burp..." The swift consumption of alcohol made Jiang Tianyi let out an involuntary belch. The alcohol rushed to his head, instantly turning his face bright red. Hearing the belch, Lin Mengjie turned back and nearly burst out laughing at the sight of him, though she was also exasperated.

"You! I told you not to drink, but you just had to! When your assistant Xiao Liu arrives, he's going to laugh at you!"

"He wouldn't dare! Burp... It's fine if I doze off in the car after getting drunk anyway. It's a long journey—several hours..."

Emboldened by the alcohol, Jiang Tianyi even dared to talk back, though he quickly cowered again after Lin Mengjie shot him another glare. He lowered his head obediently and listened to her scolding.

Jiang Yun, peeking through the door crack, found the scene highly amusing. His father, Jiang Tianyi, loved drinking, but perhaps due to his constitution, even a little alcohol made him drunk, and once drunk, he would simply fall asleep. This had remained unchanged over the years. Then Jiang Yun thought of himself and couldn't help but grimace—it seemed he had inherited his father's constitution, also getting drunk at the slightest taste of alcohol.

Last year, after successfully confessing his feelings to Su Qing, they went out to celebrate with a romantic candlelit dinner. Halfway through the meal, he had already passed out drunk. In the end, Su Qing had to exert tremendous effort to get him home.

That incident had embarrassed him for a long time, and even now, Su Qing occasionally used it to "threaten" him, making him surrender in mock defeat. Thinking of these memories, the corners of his mouth curled upward involuntarily. Meanwhile, at the table, his mother was still lecturing his father.

"Look at you, your face is so red! I've packed your luggage and left it by the door. When Xiao Liu arrives, you can go out by yourself. I don't want to..."

Before Lin Mengjie could finish, Jiang Tianyi suddenly stood up from his chair and, emboldened by the alcohol, stepped forward and wrapped his arms around her. Lin Mengjie froze in place, her eyes wide with shock and uncertainty. Though they had been married for many years, influenced by the education and traditions of their time, both were quite conservative in nature and rarely engaged in such intimate gestures.

"Hu... husband... you... you..." Lin Mengjie stammered, her earlier authoritative demeanor seeming like an illusion.

"Wife, all these years... you've worked hard!" Jiang Tianyi stared directly into Lin Mengjie's eyes as he spoke. Embarrassed by his intense gaze, she began to avert her eyes, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks. Jiang Tianyi was momentarily stunned.

For so many years, aside from their wedding night over a decade ago, Lin Mengjie had always carried an air of sternness. Accustomed to maintaining a cold and aloof exterior, she often appeared serious and unapproachable even at home. Seeing his wife suddenly display such a shy, girlish demeanor, Jiang Tianyi, fueled by the alcohol, couldn't resist leaning in to kiss her.

"Mmm... mmm..." Lin Mengjie was momentarily stunned by the sudden kiss. Then, perhaps stimulated by the scent of alcohol, she began to respond passionately to her husband's clumsy tongue. As Jiang Tianyi continued kissing, one of his hands grew restless, kneading her full breasts while the other slowly slid downward.

"Don't..." Lin Mengjie instinctively tried to block her husband's advance, but her resistance was feeble. Jiang Tianyi's hand easily reached the center of her forest, teasing her through her underwear until she became somewhat intoxicated with desire.

In her thirties, Lin Mengjie was at an age where such needs ran high. Yet, with her husband often away from home, she had no choice but to endure the loneliness alone. Fortunately, having her son by her side helped her shift her focus entirely to him, allowing her to suppress those thoughts.

Playing both father and mother roles, Lin Mengjie forced herself to become stronger, appearing aloof and strict in front of others to conceal the vulnerable side of her that yearned to be cared for and protected.

Jiang Tianyi was, after all, her husband and one of the pillars she relied on in her heart. This embrace and kiss temporarily shattered the defenses she had built around herself, revealing this passionate side. Seeing this, Jiang Tianyi grew even more fervent, though his movements remained rather clumsy.
