Thalia rushed to his side unleashing an armada of melee attacks, giving Suho a few seconds to get back on his feet.
As the pair of fighters fell back, Thalia quickly used RE-CREATION skill to restore Suho.
"I don't think he dodged my attack," Suho said, "it was definitely something else."
"Suppression…he used a Suppression type skill. He stretched the space between your strike and his body. The space stretch caused your attack to miss." Thalia said calmly.
"I see…but all powers have limits…and I have a hunch what his might be." Suho said calmly as he assessed their situation.
He continued, "Thalia…can you cast buffs on just the two of us? Don't waste your mana on the shadow soldiers."
[CORONA skill used]
"Good…now let's try again." Suho said.
Thalia sprinted toward the Itarim even faster than before. This time the Itarim created a thousand arms all connected to his body…each with a blade or weapon.
Thalia attacked, parried, and countered the thousand arms. Faster and faster they clashed until Thalia was thrown back.
At that same exact moment, Suho closed in and activated:
[TRUE MUTALATION skill].
He sliced and chopped the Itarm's arms off at lightning speed. Lycus gave out a sharp yelp of pain.
With Thalia's Corona buff combined with Suho's Monarchs Domain and TRUE MUTALATION…all these stacked buffs and skills made Suho's attacks too quick and too numerous for the Itarim to predict. It was too risky to use the "space stretch" gimmick without knowing where the next strike may land.
The Itarim realizing the danger, "vanished" for a few seconds and "reappeared" near the same spot.
Lycus proceeded to hurl thousands of ranged projectiles at Suho and Thalia. The Itarim continued to launch a ceaseless barrage of projectiles in an attempt to keep Suho and Thalia from regrouping and formulating a plan.
["Thalia, can you hear me ok?] Suho asked via the shared-senses link that Thalia had activated earlier.
["Yes, the link is still active."] Thalia replied.
["Good. Listen, just now the Itarim vanished and reappeared…I'm assuming he used his Suppression skill on himself and shrank himself to an atomic size…am I right?"] Suho asked.
["Yes. That's what he did. His Creation and Suppression skills are impressive, but they are not instantaneous. Each time he uses either, it requires a small amount of time."] Thalia replied.
["Ok…good…that confirms my suspicions. His Suppression skill is limited to physical objects and spaces in between. However, he is unable to stretch or shrink time itself…at least not in here…not in your realm, otherwise he would have killed us long ago."] Suho said with confidence.
["Hmmm…I got an idea! Listen…this is my plan…"] Thalia said with a mischievous smile.
No longer caring about conserving mana, Thalia pushed an enormous amount of mana into her Corona skill, greatly augmenting buffs on herself and Suho.
Suho rushed toward Lycus even fast than before. The Itarim created thousands of arms and he swung them wildly at Suho with little strategy.
Undeterred, Suho activated TRUE MUTALATION. The resulting onslaught of strikes were far to fast for Lycus to counter, dodge , or even block.
The Itarim God let out a sharp painful cry as Suho clipped his arms off with a dazzling display of skill and strength.
Meanwhile, Thalia was analyzing every spec of mana movement…patiently waiting for the right opening…they would only get one chance at this.
Panicked, Lycus attempted to retreat by using his Suppression skill to shrink himself again. The exact moment the Itarim shrank, Thalia shouted via shared-senses,
["NOW!"]
Thalia thought, 'You forgot that this is my domain…which means I can do this.'

Thalia's RE-CREATION skill reversed Lycus' shrinking.
The sudden turn of events caught Lycus completely by surprise. In his confusion, the Itarim God hesitated for a few seconds while trying to understand what was happening.
Those few seconds were all that was needed.
Suho had been building up mana during his TRUE MUTILIATION strikes…all he needed were a few seconds to activate his skill and unleash his attacks.
[BREATH OF DESTRUCTION skilled used by Suho Sung]
Densely packed mana erupted from Suho's mouth like hot lava spewing for a volcano. The inferno breath of destruction that incinerates all, pierced a hole straight through Lycus' "heart".
Lycus staggered…still disoriented and confused. He tried to heal the giant hole in his chest, but Thalia had predicted this. She had been waiting for this moment and had positioned herself at the exact spot needed.
She swung her cutlass with all her strength.

The Itarim God's head was severed from its body.
