Phase 5 – Annihilation.
In the event the shard was taken, Phase 5 would require the entire stronghold to be wiped out. In doing so, hopefully, the team could recover the shard…that was a big "hope". If unable to recover the shard, the team would ensure it's destruction. This would prevent the Empire from getting their hands on it.
[Liu Zhigang & Kavar Squads (merged deep in the prison)]
"You are free now…if you wish to flee, go thru those gates. If you wish to fight, follow me! We are taking this castle!" Liu shouted
A roar erupted in response.
It was a mixed army thrown together at the last minute… it included Cherubims, Seraphims, Apostles from other universes, Giants, Titans, and Dragons. They all converged in a messy bloodbath…pure carnage and destruction and the liberated prisoners unleashed their anger and hate towards their captors.
The Empire quickly saw their number advantage dwindle…there were 5x more prisoners than guards. It was like watching a cascading avalanche…one prisoner freed two more, those two freed another two…before long the liberated prisoners outnumbered the guards.
[Control Room]
"Lord Lycus…my Lord…our forces are being overrun…we are being flanked by two armies…we estimate we have lost 60% of our forces…if this continues, we will not survive!" One of the generals said in a panic right before his head was chopped off.
"Idiots…useless morons…I guess I have to do everything around this place." Lycus grumbled.
"Summon my guards, I will take command of our forces myself….and execute our generals…those useless morons deserve death." Lycus commanded.
[Near the Prison]
Suho and his army were rapidly converging with Liu Zhigang & Kavar's army. The Empire's soldiers were wedged between two powerful armies…the soldiers desperately fought back but were slaughtered by the thousands.
Thalia stopped mid-attack…her level continued to rise amidst all the fighting…which meant her SENSE Stat was increasing at a rapid rate. She could feel the shift in mana…and she knew something was off.
"Thalia! Are you ok?" Suho asked.
"Something is coming…something powerful." She replied.
BOOOM
A large blast erupted from the ceiling. It blew an enormous hole straight through the castle killing friend and foe alike…it was a careless attack, like throwing a chainsaw at a crowd of people at a rock-n-roll concert.
"My! My! My!" said Lycus with a maniacal tone of voice.
"What do we have here? Hmmm…rats…do you know what we do to rats around here?" Lycus asked as he laughed with glee.
He abruptly stopped mid-laugh and said to his guards, "take care of the rabble…but leave the little White Shadow God to me…"
Lycus turned his gaze to Thalia and said to his guards, "and leave that little Itarim girl to me."
"What did you call me?" Thalia asked in annoyance.
"Oh…hahah…hahah…don't tell me you don't know what you are?" Lycus laughed hysterically.
He raised a hand up and started to manifest an enormous object…it quickly grew larger and larger.
"This is bad!" Suho shouted… "Prepare for impact!"

In an instant, Suho, Thalia and Lycus disappeared completely.
