There was a very poor boy. His father had passed away when he was only 1 year old, so he had seen a lot of hardships from a very young age. He also had an elder brother. The boy was now 20 years old, and his brother was three years older.
His brother's nature was a little selfish, so he never helped their mother. They were extremely poor, and their mother worked all day doing labor just to take care of her two sons. Sometimes, she hoped that the elder son would help, but he never really tried to do much.The elder brother never did any work.
Even at 20 years old, he refused to help their mother in any way. He would beat his three-year-younger brother, shout at him, and try to create stress at home. No matter how much their mother scolded or advised him, he never listened. He constantly argued with her for money, and if she didn't give it, he would fight even more and sometimes refuse to eat. Because of this, their mother had to find money from wherever she could, often without even knowing when or how she would get it.
Gradually, time passed. The mother would remind him, "Ramesh, take care of your younger brother. The responsibility of this house is now in your hands." Time went on, and eventually, the elder brother got a job.(I will explain what happens after he gets a job in the next chapter.)
