General Information:
▪️ Mortal Realm
The mortal realm is simply earth, where humans live. Humans are taken from earth once every year to partake in the trial of ascension. However, it is important to note that the people on earth are not aware of these trials.
▪️The Pantheon
This is the world where humans go to after becoming Ascendants.
▪️Ascendants
These are people who have passed the trial of ascension and are now on the path of apotheosis.
▪️Domains
All Ascendants have personal realms given to them after their ascension. This realms are called domains.
Power System:
Almost everything in this world begins and ends with cards.
▪️Soul Card
This is the most important card. After passing the trial of ascension, an ascendant is given a soul card based on their performance. This card contains and shapes everything about their authority, domain and powers.
A soul card cannot be stolen. However, if an ascendant dies, their soul card leaves them, and is given to another human during the next trial of ascension.
Think of it this way.
The world can't function properly without a god of the sun, for instance. However, if an ascendant whose soul card placed him on the path to becoming the god of the sun suddenly dies, their card returns to the world. Then, during the next Trial of Ascension, a human would be chosen to inherit that vacancy.
▪️Insignia
These cards are the main tools of power of an ascendant. Without their insignia, an ascendant cannot gain access to their main powers.
▪️Deck
This is what every other cards are called. They include:
- Skill Cards
- Weapon Cards
- Summoning Cards
- Armor Cards
- Healing Cards
- Utility Cards
- Etc
It is important to note that some of these cards can only be used once, after which they are destroyed.
Ranks:
There are nine ranks or stages on the path to godhood.
- Initiate
- Magos
- Acolyte
- Apostle
- Exalted
- Hierophant
- Kyrios
- Hagios
- God
Tiers:
This is the measure of power based on one's soul card. Tiers are measured in stars with one star being the lowest and six stars being the highest. Also, all soul cards are the colors of their tiers.
. One star - Green Card
. Two stars - Blue Card
. Three stars - Purple Card
. Four stars - Crimson Card
. Five stars - Gold Card
. Six stars - Black Card
Just as a person cannot change their soul card, a person cannot change their tier.
