"Over here" a boy shouted from the other side of the volleyball field
Students cheered from the bleachers
"Serving" the student tossed the ball into the air and another came running, flipping and delivering a bicycle kick to the ball, launching it across the field, and it ended up in the hands of one of the spectators
"Dude, what the hell was that?!"
"Hey can you toss that over"
The spectator, Aki was looking down at the court, he got up, tossed the ball meters into the air, and leaped from his seat, once the ball reached the right height he rolled into a Roll spike, catapaulting it back with immense speed
"Oh nice shot bro" one of the boys, Mike leaped, extending his foot to stop the ball's momentum
"You should join us"
"No, I'm not much of a sports guy" Aki said as he walked away, the cheers begun again, and even louder this time
'Isn't he the top 1% in the region?!"
Once he reached a secluded corner, he crouched down and pulled his phone from his pocket, he tapped the screen, and it lit up, showing a series of unread messages
*Where are you?*
*I just received an international call*
The messages read
Reading them, he smiled slightly, then his finger tapped on the first message
*I'll be right back* he replied to the message, then put the phone away
"What are you doing here, Vice president?"
A blonde student pressed a cold can on his cheek, causing him to recoil back
"Sam, what's up?"
"I saw you were showing off"
"It's nothing like that"
"Haha,alright" Sam opened his can, and took a slow sip
"So, are you interested now?"
"Sure, sounds fun"
After school, He stood outside the academy gates, students walked around him, some were in groups, some walking solo
A luxury sedan came cruising down the road, drawing the attention of the people around, it stopped by him, the rear door lining up with him
"Good afternoon, Young master" A man greeted Aki as soon as he got in
"Afternoon, Mr Davis" He closed the door, and the car rolled away
As it moved, Aki was on his phone, scrolling through social media posts, his finger paused on a posts, showing a female streamer, who was live, narrating a story to the viewers
He tapped on the comments, most of them were greasy comments, and a few were of decent people who were actually listening and not observing her
He tapped a few times, and posted his own comment
*Snow*
The girl happened to look at the comments, and she must've spotted it, because she smiled
"I'll be back soon, Prince" she said, which sounded odd to the rest of the viewers, as it came out of nowhere
"You seem to be in a good mood, Young master" Mr Davis teased him from the driver's seat, looking at his through the rear view mirror
"Really?"
After a 30 minute drive, the car stopped before two large iron gates, when they opened, the entered, driving along a long patch of green grass and fountains filled with exotic fish
Maids, butlers and other staff were attending to their duties, some were cutting leaves off trees, some were trimming the grass, and some were watering the flowers in the gardens
A large, modern mansion sat in the middle, the car stopped by the front door, Aki opened the door, he stepped out of the car, and walked up the few steps to the front door
He grabbed the doorknob and twisted it, but the door refused to open
"It's locked?" He rattled the door, but it still wouldn't budge
"Shouldn't Chloe be home by this time?"
"Young master, did you not take you spare keys when you left"
"No, i forgot them"
The sound of keys turning inside reached his ears, when the deadbolt turned, he immediately twisted the doorknob once more, and this time, the door opened
A young woman stood by the doorway, her hair was a mess and she was in pijamas
"Were you asleep?"
"What do you think?" She crossed her arms, and walked foward, blocking him out
"What now?"
"Didn't you see my message"
"I responded to it"
"No, my message"
"Well, I thought they were sent but the same person"
"So you didn't even bother checking the ID"
"Come on sis"
"Whatever, Mr Davis, Rose is waiting for you, eastern side business center"
"As for you" she turned back to Aki, and grabbed him by the ear
"Get inside, we need to chat"
"Hey that hurts"
The staff nearby was laughing, they were clearly enjoying the siblings bickering
Inside, Aki sat on a sofa, Clutching his reddened ear, while glaring at his sister
"I just spoken to....the snow representatives" she said, taking a seat on the armrest, she pointed at a tablet on the coffee table
"Check it out"
Aki picked up the tablet and turned the screen on
A live feed started playing on the tablet, showing the same streamer Aki had seen on his phone, she was now sitting quietly, eating
"I've already seen her" he placed the tablet on Chloe's lap, then got up to leave
"One month" Chloe called out from behind him, he stopped, turned to look at her, and smiled
"That's nice" then he walked up the stairs, when he saw he was out of sight, he sat down on the stairs, pulled out his phone, and pressed the power button, the screen lit up, he looked at the wallpaper, smiling
It was a picture of him and the same girl, but noticeably from a very young age, not older than 5
The afternoon rolled over quickly, soon it was already evening, the front door opened, and a woman stepped inside, she kicked off her heels, and made her way to the sofa, the living room was quite, the only sound coming from the humming fridge in the kitchen
"I'm so tired" she exhaled, switching and laying flat on the sofa
"Phineas, where are you?"
"I'm right here, Young miss, what can I get for you" A tall man, came in from the door, wearing a dark suit
"Iced tea would be nice"
"Understood"
He walked back outside, leaving her alone in the Living room
Steps came from the staircase, which made her look, at the end of them, Aki appeared brushing his teeth
"Rose?"
"Good evening baby brother" Rose sat up straight, and patted the space beside her
"Sit" he obeyed and sat beside her, he looked at her face, and saw the dark spots under her eyes
"You really need to stop pushing yourself" he moved his hands, and rubbed her temples
"I'm fine, don't worry" she slowly patted him on the head, then brushed his hands off
Rose looked at him seriously, she took a deep breath, then
"Did you contact Snow?" The brush in his mouth stopped moving, and his hands stiffened
He immediately understood, unlike Chloe, Rose isn't one for nonsense, and absolutely despises it when he does things in secret
"Not really" he managed to choke out,but avoided her gaze
"Hmm? I'm not mad, I'm just asking"
"I'm serious" he picked up the remote on the table, pointed to the large flat screen, and hit the power button
The large screen lit up, illuminating the room, he navigated to the social media option, clicked it and logged in
"What are you doing?" He ignored the question and went into his history tab, revealing all the interactions he's had in the application for the day
