Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Viola didn't head to the cafeteria when break time arrived. Ordinary human food now tasted bland to her. She was no longer in Sofia's body.

She simply sat alone in the classroom as it gradually emptied. The overcast light from outside the window filtered in dimly, giving the atmosphere a calm stillness.

Not long after, footsteps approached.

"Are you bored?" Jota asked.

Without waiting for an answer, he pressed the side of a small bottle filled with blood lightly against Viola's cheek, deliberately drawing her attention.

Viola didn't respond. She simply took the bottle from Jota's hand.

"Drink. While there's no one in the classroom," Jota said calmly.

Viola opened the cap and swallowed the contents. The red liquid flowed down her throat—warm, rich, and far more satisfying than any food. Within moments, the bottle was empty.

A small trace of blood remained at the corner of her lips.

Without a word, Jota lifted his hand and wiped the stain away with his thumb. His movement was slow. Too slow.

The touch was unmistakable.

The moment felt… romantic.

Her heart pounded wildly, almost uncontrollably. It felt as if her whole body tensed just from how close they were.

But she couldn't overreact.

She restrained herself—held her expression steady, held herself to act normally as Viola.

Viola kept her gaze on Jota with a neutral expression, as if nothing unusual had happened.

Even though inside, she could barely endure it.

Just then—

A female student walked toward the classroom.

Her name was Kirara.

Her steps halted right at the doorway.

Before her stood the handsome new teacher—Jota—very close to the new student, Viola. The distance between them was almost nonexistent, and the atmosphere felt… different.

Kirara froze.

From the first glance, she had already liked Jota. His handsome face and calm demeanor had captivated her.

But now—

Her hope of getting closer to him felt blocked.

By one person.

—Viola.

The feeling rising in Kirara's heart was no longer mere disappointment,

but resentment toward Viola.
