Lina Morgan stood at the bus stop, holding her sketchbook close to her chest. She loved the rain. It made the world feel softer, calmer.

A tall boy running across the street, laughing as the rain soaked his dark hair. He stopped near her and smiled.

They walked home together. Shared headphones. Watched sunsets.
One evening, as the sky turned pink, Ethan reached for her hand.

Her heart shattered.
When she confronted him, he sighed.
