Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 – The Hidden World

When Mu Yuan woke, the first thing he saw was his grandmother's worried eyes.

"Little Tree?" Lin Yaozhi asked softly.

Mu Yuan blinked, then smiled. "Grandma… I'm fine."

Relief filled the room. His mother hugged him tightly. His father laughed in quiet happiness. Mu Qingshan checked his pulse once more and finally nodded.

"He is healthy," the old man said. "Better than before."

Mu Yuan sat up slowly.

Because something inside him had truly changed.

---

When he closed his eyes, he could feel it.

A small space existed within his soul.

A silent land beneath a glowing tree.

Mu Yuan looked at his family and spoke honestly.

"My martial soul evolved," he said. "I received an inheritance… like a god inheritance."

The Mu family became serious.

They had seen strange things in their lives. They knew such things could exist.

Mu Qingshan spoke calmly. "Show us, if it is safe."

Mu Yuan nodded.

Because these were the people he trusted most.

---

He took his grandfather's hand first.

The world turned quiet.

In the next moment, Mu Qingshan stood beside him in a small glowing land. A young tree shone softly at the center, roots hidden in darkness.

The air was gentle. The ground firm. A tiny spring flowed nearby.

Mu Qingshan did not speak for a long time.

Then he whispered, "A world… inside your martial soul."

One by one, Mu Yuan showed the space to his grandmother, parents, each separately because of the current limits.

All of them were amazed.

All of them were silent.

---

Mu Yuan also discovered something else.

A faint world node mark had appeared in his mind. It fixed the place where he entered his inner world. He understood he would always return to that same spot outside.

The rule felt natural, like breathing.

He also found he could control small pieces of wood inside and outside the world. Tiny vines moved when he willed them.

Not strong yet.

But real.

---

That evening, the Mu family discussed everything carefully.

Mu Qinglin spoke first. "No one outside this house can know."

Su Wanqing nodded. "Not teachers. Not villagers. Not Spirit Hall."

Lin Yaozhi added gently, "Your martial soul still looks like Azure Willow outside. Let it remain so."

Mu Qingshan looked at Mu Yuan seriously.

"When people ask about your progress, say only that your martial soul mutated in a good way. Never speak of inheritance or inner world."

Mu Yuan agreed.

Secrets must be protected.

---

The next morning, Mu Yuan followed his normal routine again.

But meditation felt easier.

Soul power flowed more smoothly.

He told his family honestly.

"My cultivation feels faster now."

Mu Qingshan nodded. "Your inheritance increased your talent. This is natural."

Mu Qinglin smiled. "With your good innate soul power, fast growth is believable."

Lin Yaozhi laughed softly. "Our Little Tree will grow tall."

---

Days passed quietly.

Mu Yuan practiced meditation, helped in the herb shop in Frostwood City, and visited his inner world briefly each night.

The tiny land remained peaceful.

Small.

But alive.

Mu Yuan understood one thing clearly.

This hidden world was his future.

And he would protect it with everything he had.
