Police stormed the building.
Inside, they found Yash tied to a chair.
Alive.
Shaken.
"Kelly… brought me here," he whispered.
Yami's heart stopped.
Kelly stepped out of the shadows.
Calm.
Unshaken.
"Mom," she said softly.
Yami's voice trembled.
"Why?"
Kelly tilted her head slightly.
"Because I like silence."
The officers froze.
Kelly continued calmly:
"You thought my father killed my mother."
Yami stared.
Kelly's expression didn't change.
"He didn't."
"I did."
Silence filled the room.
"She wouldn't stop shouting. I made her quiet."
"And my father?"
Kelly's voice remained steady.
"He didn't commit suicide. I poisoned him."
Yami felt the world collapse beneath her.
"How many people?" she whispered.
Kelly thought for a moment.
"Fifty that I remember."
"I stopped counting after that."
Yash stared at her in horror.
"You framed me…"
Kelly smiled faintly.
"You were convenient."
"I knew Mom would suspect you."
"You work at night. You build machines. It was perfect."
