Chapter 93 - [VOL 3] CHAPTER 4 : PAGE 4

Jee-shahn's wings beat with a slow, heavy rhythm, silencing the very clouds as he

soared back toward the origin of the mountain's veins—the starting point where the

waterfall first began its descent. In his arms, Seraphina remained frozen. The "noise"

of her trauma was still loud, but a new, strange warmth was blooming in her chest, a

mixture of confusion and a deep, involuntary blush.

On his head, the Azure Lizard sent a silent, telepathic pulse to the Draco dwelling in

Jee-shahn's left palm. They shared a moment of grim relief; the Master had finally

returned from the "Embassy of Ghosts." He was no longer just drifting; he was acting.

After hours of flight, they reached a sprawling, ancient city that sat like a stone titan in

the valley. Jee-shahn descended, his boots touching the ground with an ominous

thud. He placed Seraphina gently on the cobblestones. She looked around at the

bustling streets, the people moving with cold indiference to the sufering of others.

Jee-shahn didn't speak. He simply raised his left hand toward the heavens.

"Draco," he whispered.

The mouth in his palm let out a sickening, metallic chuckle. Suddenly, a hundred

shimmering lights—the souls of the recently departed, drifting toward the fourteen

skies to be forgotten—were caught in a violent vacuum. Before they could vanish into

the void of rebirth, the Draco unhinged its jaw and consumed them all.

Then, with a cold, rhythmic snap of his right fingers, Jee-shahn released an Azure

Wave. It rippled through the city and through Seraphina's body like a phantom wind.

No stone was cracked; no building was toppled. For a heartbeat, the world went

silent.

Then, the "noise" of life simply stopped.

The bustling city transformed into a silent graveyard in a matter of seconds. Every

inhabitant, those who had turned a blind eye to the slaughter of the World-Eaters, fell

where they stood. The streets became rivers of crimson as the blood pooled together,

reflecting the darkening sky. Seraphina backed away, her breath hitching in terror.

"What... what have you done?"

Jee-shahn knelt in the center of the crimson lake. He pressed his left palm into the

deep, dark red.

"[The Abyss of Crystalline Sins]" he intoned, his voice echoing with the weight of a

thousand regrets. "My absolute sorrows... come forth to me."

The blood began to boil and churn. It didn't wash away; it rose, weaving itself into a

hundred crystalline shapes. Slowly, the gore transformed. The features of demons

began to sharpen—the horns, the wings, the familiar faces of the fallen. A hundredWorld-Eaters stood once more, their bodies made of blood and memory, but their

eyes shining with life.

Seraphina let out a scream of unbelievable joy. She rushed forward, throwing her

arms around two figures in the center. "Mother! Father! I thought the silence had

taken you forever!"

As the family wept, the Lizard and the Draco whispered to Jee-shahn. "Master... why?

Why reclaim these lives and slaughter an entire city to do it?"

Jee-shahn rubbed his head, his eyes looking tired. "I don't know," he murmured. "I

just... did it."

As he turned to leave, Seraphina called out from behind him, her voice trembling with

gratitude. "Why? Why did you help me? Why did you save us?"

Jee-shahn paused, a faint, genuine smile ghosting across his lips—a smile that hadn't

been seen since the start of the "noise."

"Someone once told me... that even a Monster can save a life," he said, his voice

drifting like a memory. "I thought I'd give it a try this time."

Seraphina and the resurrected demons watched him in stunned silence. Jee-shahn

turned back toward them, his tattered wings unfurling to their full, terrifying span.

"Like you Demons, we Monsters have our evils and our goods. I am tired of the noise

of war. I am going to build my Empire now. A Dream-Realm where the forgotten can

finally sleep." He pointed toward the southern horizon, toward the Right side of the

South. "I and my people will be waiting for all of you there."

Before Seraphina could utter another word, Jee-shahn beat his wings with a

thunderous crack and vanished into the darkening sky, a lone sovereign flying toward

a throne he finally accepted.
