This information is important for readers, as I want to clarify several points before continuing with the story.
This novel is very new for me, and I've been working on it for several months. Because of that, it's possible that the first 25 chapters may feel a bit tedious or lengthy, since they contain a lot of information. Each of these chapters has approximately between 2100 and 2500 words.
Don't worry—this isn't without reason. During the first 25 to 50 chapters, the story focuses mainly on character development and world building, explaining the plot, the world, and important concepts in greater detail.
After that point, the chapter length will decrease, dropping to an average of 1500 to 1900 words.
If at any moment you stop enjoying the story and decide to drop it, that's completely fine. I'm not here to force anyone to read something they don't enjoy.
I fully understand what it's like to read a long or heavy novel. It's proven that chapters over 2000 words do get read, but most readers tend to feel more comfortable with chapters around 1500 words.
As I mentioned earlier, please have patience—the longer length is only temporary.
I also want to clarify that I'm new to writing novels. The story may not be perfect, but I'm putting in a huge effort to improve as I go.

As you'll notice, this novel is heavily inspired by some of my favorite works, such as: Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint and Shadow Slave.
Those who read it will notice clear inspiration from The Novel's Extra and The Author's POV. Still, I kindly ask that you please do not directly compare my work to those great novels. It wouldn't be fair to compare a common rock to diamonds or pieces of pure jade, right?
Time will tell whether this novel manages to become a shining diamond or a piece of pure jade.
Lastly, I want to mention that I have a large buffer of already-written chapters (139 chapters at the moment). However, due to various personal events and responsibilities, I won't always be able to update every day.
Even so, I will do my very best to release two chapters daily in a row until I reach between 70 and 100 chapters.
There may be moments when I fall a bit short, but I will try to be as consistent as possible, since I know consistency is key for the novel to be well-received on the platform (the accumulated chapters will be corrected and edited before being published).
