Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Reborn as my Goat...in Naruto...Well Crap

Nick was just your ordinary guy, had a normal life, a normal Family, he went to school, had some friends and tried to get good grades as much as possible...Tho he mostly failed in that since he was as lazy as one could get. Tho he had the smarts, his parents would say.

Despite that, he was quite content with his life. He had dreams of becoming a doctor, find a girl that he'd love, start a family, raise one or two kids, and grow old with his wife, that is if he ever found one to begin.

Which meant that he did NOT wish to die before at least accomplishing half of his goals.

Sadly that was not to be as when he was returning home, passing nearby an quite well known company, he suddenly heard a boom before excruciating pain took over his being for a second before his world faded to black.

He awoke with a gasp.

As he began to look around, not recognizing the place he was at, Unexpectedly he underwent through a throbbing headache, as memories began to flood his brain, both past and new life unlocking and messing mercilessly with his brain.

His brain decided it did not like that feeling.

It gave out.

He passed out.

4 Hours Later

Nick...Or rather his new name. Genma woke up on a mattress, still with a splitting headache but much more easy to support. Again, looking around with blurry eyes, he wondered where he was...Well he knew already but refused to accept that fact. This was simply ridiculous!

There was actually no way that such phenomenon was actually possible! From his memories he seemed to have transmigrated in the world of Naruto...as Genma Shiranui no less.

While he was quite an avid fan of Naruto during his seemingly past life and had Genma as his GOAT. No way on God's green earth would he have thought that he'd reincarnate as him!

He didn't like this! He didn't want this! He loved his normal mundane life! And despite how he loved the shinobi universe created by Masashi Kishimoto, he didn't wish to live in it one bit!

No no no! This was bad! Give him Mha or any romance anime or anything other than Naruto!

Genma paused.

Nah...perhaps this world wasn't so bad after all...

Because he imagined being transmigrated in Attack On Titan, Blood C, The Invincible Universe...

Genma shivered quite violently at such thoughts...

No...Perhaps this wasn't so bad after all.

Well it was still bad in a way...

Why may you ask?

Well the answer to this question was quite simple. While he had reincarnated as his GOAT Genma Shiranui, member of the "These Four Guys From Naruto" squad and certified aura farmer for however long he appeared on screen. The fact still remained that he was nothing but a side character.

Not even as one from the main cast...Heck in this situation even Kiba would have been preferred because then he knew that as a friend of Naruto he'd actually have a certain level of plot armor that would keep death away from him, despite the fact that he'd be fodder.

But in Genma's mind it was better being fodder than being dead.

And what's worse, he had transmigrated as a four-year-old Genma.

Which meant that he was in the time period of the Third Great Shinobi World War.

He didn't know if being a kid again made him more emotional but he felt the sudden urge to wail at the injustice, the unfairness of it all.

Meh, he was sure that any sane person in his place would be going through the exact same feelings.

Genma took some time to filter some more on his newly acquired memories. From the looks of it, he was an orphan, and was living inside one of Konoha's most populated orphanage not too far from the Hokage Building.

He yawned and, as he looked outside the window, he saw the full moon shining brightly and deduced that it was probably around the areas of midnight.

He looked around again and finally noticed the other kids that seemed to be in a state of slumber so deep it looked like not even the end of the world would be enough to wake them up.

Genma decided it would be wise to join them in their slumber instead of keeping himself awake with thoughts he obviously had quite some time ponder about.

He laid back on his mattress as sleep quickly overtook his tired mind. Offering the now four-year-old some much needed rest. He did not forget in his mind to thank whoever the person that had found him was while he passed out earlier.

With that, Genma's mind blacked out.

The Next Day.

Genma woke up groggily from his mattress and looked outside once more. He sighed. It seemed that even in his new life he was still a morning person. The sun looked like it was barely rising yet he felt every ounce of sleep drain away from his being. He looked around and saw that the kids with whom he shared this room with were still in a deep sleep.

"Expected..." He muttered.

Genma decided that he was envious of people who could sleep for however long they wanted.

Sighing again, he stood up, and trusting his memory decided to go to the bathroom.

He removed what needed to be removed before hopping right in.

He turned the valve open as cold water slammed into him. Genma yelped as he got out of the bath with a jump that had him hitting his head against the ceiling before he free fell to the harsh and unforgiving wooden floor.

Opening his eyes, he began to wonder how on earth he wasn't out cold. He then remembered in what world he was, before grudgingly standing up as the door to the bathroom was opened by a caretaker.

Himori, if his going by his memories.

She seemed unbothered by his lack of clothes.

"Genma-kun? You're awake already? How surprising. Usually you're quite the heavy sleeper." She said to him. "What got you awake so early?" She added.

Genma couldn't think of any good excuses so he just went with the truth...Well, half-truth.

"I couldn't sleep anymore Himori-san. So i just decided to go bath instead of laying down and doing nothing." He answered

She nodded at his answer, "And this noise i just heard?"

"The water was cold." He did not explain himself further after that.

Himori looked over and saw that the bathtub was still open. She went ahead and closed it. She considered wacking the child on the head for wasting so much water in such hard times but decided against it. After all that was not his fault. No child in this orphanage actually woke up this early, and when most of them woke up the sun would have already done its job of heating up the water enough to the point where it would no longer be freezing cold.

She would not wack him on the head, she decided.

"Well, i guess it can't be helped." Looking up at the bathtub that was overflowing to the brim with cold water, Himori's hands went through the necessary hand seals as a tiny fireball came out from her mouth and begin heating up the water for twenty seconds or so. After that, she dispelled the jutsu and dipped her hand in the water.

The temperature was good enough she decided. So, turning to the tiny kid that was standing near her with quite a complicated expression for the Sage knows why. She urged him that he could bath without fear.

He nodded with a thankful expression on his face.

Himori then picked up the mop that was on the corner.

"Wait Himori-san, you can leave that to me."

She raised an eyebrow.

Genma fidgeted a bit, "I caused this mess, it is only normal that i take care of it."

Himori was quite surprised by the child's maturity, she wondered what caused the sudden change but didn't ponder on it for more than necessary.

Meh, such change wasn't unwelcomed, she thought.

She decided to indulge him and passed over the mop before turning around to leave, closing the door as she did so.

After her departure Genma made true to his promise and began mopping the floor. When done, he put the mop back in the corner before hopping into the now cool water.

He let out a sigh of relief.

He decided he'd think over the implications of his transmigration later.
