Welcome to my novel and the great world of Immortal Cultivation!
I like creating these "Note Before Reading" because it gives readers a general overview of the novel's approach and the different themes that will appear. Although I use tags and add them in my synopsis, I always feel like they're superficial.
So, let's start with giving five key points of this novel: Cultivation World – Creation Arts – Reincarnation – Slice of Life – Fast Pace.
Cultivation Setting– mc own power setting is based on the traditional XianXia but has a different approach. In all honesty, when I read XianXia, I always have a feeling that after Nascent Soul, all the stages are just talk and numbers going up, no real value. Fear not! Here, you will see a power novel where each stage will feel meaningful and progression will be real.
Creation Arts – that's how I personally call the Hundred Arts of Cultivation. I think my name sounds better, since the Hundred Arts restricts it to a hundred arts. In this novel, MC's goal in each life will focus on these arts. Initially we will see things like Spirit Planter and Beast Tamer, later on we will see a variety of common arts like Talisman, Formation, Alchemy and Weapon Refining, and finally we will see various niche arts like Fengshui, Prophecy, and many others. If you're interested in reading about each one in a unique approach, then you should try my novel out!
Reincarnation – made as a system, rewarding yet also challenging. I don't wanna spoil too much, but I will say a few things. First of all, the initial interface is really just the initial interface. With each upgrade, the MC will gain more abilities and be able to use it further. But the core remains: Live a worthy life, achieve great things, then the life will be evaluated, get some rewards and go to the next life. Next life might have a better start or worse depending on his investment...
Slice of Life – I'm sure most of you know what it means, but the general idea is to show a piece of a person's life in another world. Here, we will see a life from the start to the end, however that ending may be. We will experience the world of cultivation and the changing scenery. With one scenery at a time, we will slowly see the whole world!
Fast Pace – contrary to the usual Slice of Life, since I'm planning to show the whole life of a person, we're gonna be moving fast. While we see the world, we won't have time for endless events that randomly pop up around MC in normal cultivation novels. And even if that happens, he will likely not waste his reincarnation on a risky endeavour. Rather than doing that, it'd be better to learn a few more spells, gain more achievements and then reincarnate a better life.
