Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The End… and a New Beginning

I never thought dying would feel so… anticlimactic. One second, I was on my couch binge-watching the latest superhero series, and the next—everything went black. My thoughts scattered, a white-hot pain flashing through my chest, and then—nothing. Silence. Absolute nothingness.

And yet, here I was, in a void darker than any space I had ever imagined, floating—or maybe just existing. I couldn't see anything. Couldn't feel anything. Couldn't even tell if I was breathing. And then I heard it.

A voice. Smooth. Infinite. Older than the universe.

"Welcome," it said. "You have been… terminated. But your story is not over. Not yet."

I blinked. I had no eyes, but somehow I blinked. "Uh… who are you?" I asked. My voice sounded small in the vast nothingness.

"I am beyond your comprehension," it said. "A god, if you will. I offer you a choice. Three wishes. Use them wisely. But know this: one of these wishes must determine the world you wish to inhabit next. If you fail, you will be placed at random."

I gulped. Three wishes. I had spent my entire life dreaming about worlds like these—comics, movies, TV shows, science fiction, fantasy. And now… I actually had a chance to live in one. A real, living world.

I took a deep breath—well, the void said I did—and thought carefully. My first wish had to be the world. I had no doubts.

"I wish to be reincarnated into the DC Universe."

The voice hummed. "So be it."

Next… power. I had spent hours watching, reading, and obsessing over every sci-fi and fantasy character I could find. And one name kept standing out. One being that could do almost anything: Rick Prime. The ultimate genius. I could practically feel his chaotic intelligence coursing through me already, calling me to it.

"I wish to have all the memories and abilities of Rick Prime from Rick and Morty."

There was a pause. I could feel the universe tilting, like a cosmic eye squinting at me. Then it spoke again.

"Very well. And your final wish?"

I smirked. Money always made things easier, and if I wanted to fully explore the DC Universe, I would need resources. But not just any family. I wanted legacy, power, influence. A name that would open doors—and one that would let me fund my research, my experiments, my adventures.

"I wish to be reincarnated into an incredibly rich family," I said. "Make it the Sanchez family. They should have a powerful technology business. Make them related to Bruce Wayne. They should be worth at least a hundred billion dollars. I need plenty of money for my research."

The void pulsed around me, colors swirling like molten glass. "So it shall be," the voice intoned.

And then… nothing.

When I opened my eyes again, the world was bright, crisp, and impossibly real. I lay in a luxurious bedroom, sunlight streaming through enormous windows. Sleek, modern furniture gleamed in every corner. And as I sat up, taking in the smell of polished wood and high-end electronics, I realized: I could feel my mind buzzing. Every memory, every genius-level idea from Rick Prime, now mine. Every concept, every scientific principle, every invention… and all the chaos he had ever wrought… my tools now.

I looked down at myself. I was young, perfectly healthy, and dressed in expensive silk pajamas. My reflection in the polished glass beside the bed showed sharp features, eyes brimming with intellect and mischief.

A voice called from the hallway: "Breakfast is ready, young master Sanchez."

I grinned. "Excellent. Time to get to work."

Because now? Now I had a universe to explore, powers to master, and billions of dollars to make my every idea a reality. And I was not going to waste a single second.
