It was late in the morning. The alarm kept ringing. Then Auris woke up. Baffled. He didn't know what had happened. Oculus and Nasus weren't there at all. Auris ran as fast as he could to the bar. There he saw the two discussing. "How early did you come here?" he asked. Nasus nodded. "We came here at 5 in the morning..." Oculus said. Auris was shocked. He felt ashamed that he was too late. He went to the bartender and asked for a cup of water and sat with his brothers. "So? When will we resume our journey from this refuge?" Auris asked. Oculus and Nasus were discussing their plans so they told him what they'll do, but with a little twist. They wouldn't say it directly. That'd be the most premature thing to do.
"You see Auris, I will try to get the unicorns from the men who lookafter the fence of the city of thorns. And you, Nasus, will go to the head of this thorn village and try to trick him. I want the truth. About what Lewwww Is doing. And Auris, if you don't know what Lewwww is... Then Nasus will tell you..." Oculus said. Auris looked at Oculus as if it was his first time being sober. Then Nasus snuck up towards Auris' ear and said: "You see Auris, the word Oculus said Lewwww is actually a code for our dear Lewis Willhelm." Auris looked at Nasus when that name hit his ears... "WAIT! I'VE HEARD THAT NAME BEFORE..." Auris shouted enough for the bartender to hear. Oculus slapped himself. "You've heard the name because he's the mayor!" They walked out of the bar, acting less sober than they were before they entered. The three then went to explore the markets again. Nasus went near the guards again. He took a glance, and then left. They were confused to the brim. Oculus thought of meeting the mayor so Oculus went into the mayor's castle and searched most of the rooms... It was empty.
Then Oculus saw a 'Testing' room... He slowly opened the doors and saw lines and lines of...
...People.
Their hands tied with thick ropes. And a pit of lava that they were forced to fall into... Oculus was terrified. He thought it must've been death sentence for criminals... But that wasn't the case here. And their souls were absorbed... By one man standing above, watching, smiling, laughing at the death of the innocent lives, harvesting other's Navitas, Lewis Willhelm.
Just as Oculus saw the mayor, he slammed the door and took in some air. He went near one of the guards and told them he wanted to meet Lewis. And the guards took him near Lewis, as he was watching the thausands die. "Oh what did you want, newcomer?" Lewis asked Oculus and... He just said he wanted the horses... As they were going to leave the town to resume their journey... But Lewis refused. He looked at Oculus, with strange eyes. "I. WANT. THE. HORSES. NOW." Oculus said, threatening Lewis.
The guards held Oculus, but he beat each one of them and overpowered them. He slowly began approaching Leiws. "Look. I just want to leave this place. I have the freewill. Give me my horses, or..." Oculus said and paused... "You don't even need to give them to me. Just tell me where they are... And I'll take them. And I'll leave." Oculus said. Lewis then opened up a room and showed Oculus his brothers, who were tied in a chair. Lewis ordered Oculus to sit there like a 'nice boy'. Oculus sat down as his hands were rapidly tied by one of the guards.
They smiled at him, sarcastically.
"I don't understand why I'm here, Lewis. For I haven't committed any grave crime." Oculus said. Lewis looked at him and laughed. "Oh, you three don't deserve the lava pit, I'll just give you rice for now so you can speak whilst you're full." Lewis said and ordered the guards to get them the rice. Minutes later, they came with steaming rice. Nasus looked at the rice... And suddenly stomped the floor, signalling the others to stop eating the rice. Auris heard something other than rice sizzling in the plate...
"What happened? I was pleased to see newcomers eat freshly prepared royal food!" Lewis said, impatiently. Oculus gave an excuse saying that the rice was too hot.
Lewis ordered the maid to cool down the rice. And so on, minutes started passing. Minutes turned into hours, and Lewis went to the kitchen being extremely angry and impatient...
Oculus used his Navitas and blinded the remaining guards... "BLINDING OBSERVATION OCULI" Oculus shouted as he kept getting stronger and stronger. Auris joined on and with his Navitas, vibrating the walls and causing them to collapse. "RISKY RESONANCE" Auris thought in his mind, and Nasus prepared a highly inflammable gas that burnt half of the castle. Lewis came running towards them, just to realise the entire castle had been vaporised and the only building left was the kitchen... Lewis activated his Navitas and Oculus stepped forward and overpowered him. Lewis was thrown here and there as he screamed in absolute anger. In the meantime, Oculus went towards the confiscating rooms and retrieved the horses.
The three mounted their horses and rode off into the horizon, not a scratch in their body. Auris used his Navitas and vibrated the horses' legs giving them ten times more speed than usual. They were on their horses for atleast another week or so.
The drylands silently passed as the three started to enter the territory of Jozaic, their enemy nation. The border itself felt ominous. The officers stopped the three, "Are you from Nuvol, if so, we want all information. We don't want our rival's Intelligence Assets to roam in our nation." the officer said. "Oh not at all. We came to go to a strange place named Paradise." Oculus said. The officer looked at him weirdly, and then accepted them in...
