World Building & Rank Level

The World: Geopolitics & Factions

The Regalia Empire

The undisputed superpower of the continent. Regalia is a highly centralized, militaristic empire built on conquest, strict discipline, and absolute power. It boasts the strongest military force in the world, backed by elite mage corps and legendary knight orders.

However, beneath its glorious exterior lies a decaying political core driven by internal power struggles, which ultimately peaks with Hendrix's bloody coup.

The Venix Allied Kingdoms

A vast confederation of small kingdoms, duchies, and principalities. While collectively massive in territory, Venix is politically fragmented. Its military is inherently weak and disorganized due to internal rivalries, but it possesses terrifying defensive potential if all the lords unite under a single banner.

Vels City: A strategic fortress city located on the precarious border between the Regalia Empire and the Venix Confederation. Serving as a crucial melting pot and buffer zone, it functions similarly to a Mercenary Fortress, housing powerful guilds and independent factions.

The Southern Barbarian Kingdoms

A collection of fierce, tribal nations occupying the harsh southern territories. They live in constant friction with the Regalia Empire. Governed by strength and tribal honor, they are currently divided into warring factions, some of whom resort to slave-trading with Venix and Regalia.

The Power System

Natural Ranks vs. The System

In this world, strength is governed by a rigid, natural law based entirely on Ranks.

There are no status screens or numerical levels for native inhabitants, people grow stronger through brutal training and innate talent, but everyone eventually hits a genetic ceiling.

Furthermore, a person's mana capacity is determined strictly at birth.

The Native Rank Progression

Rank D: The standard tier for average human soldiers, conscripts, or novice adventurers just starting their journeys.

Rank C: The tier of competent warriors, elite city guards, and experienced adventurers capable of handling localized monster threats.

Rank B: The veteran tier, consisting of elite knights, high-tier adventurers, and seasoned military commanders.

Rank A: The Calamity tier. Individuals at this rank possess monstrous strength capable of turning the tide of localized battles on their own, such as an Ogre General.

Rank S: The National tier. This rank is reserved for master wizards, legendary grandmasters, and the supreme trump cards of a kingdom.

Rank SS: The Continental tier. These are peak historical figures, legendary heroes, and terrifying entities capable of threatening entire nations.

Rank SSS: The Mythical tier. A god-like status completely unattainable by ordinary mortals. It is exclusively reserved for Ancient Dragons, Divine Entities, and otherworldly beings.

❖ The Anomalous System (Landra Only)

Landra is the sole entity bound to a "System."

Unlike the natives who are trapped within their natural birth Ranks, Landra can accumulate Experience Points (EXP) to level up and freely allocate individual stat points.

This allows him to completely bypass the world's natural restrictions, enabling him to master both high-tier swordsmanship and high-tier magic simultaneously.
