Inside the monitoring room.
Several students stared at the screen.
Even All Might looked concerned.
One monitor displayed the massive section of the building that had just been destroyed.
"...Young Bakugo is taking this rather seriously."
All Might rubbed his chin.
"I may need to stop the exercise if this escalates any further."
Clap.
Clap.
Clap.
Everyone turned.
Aoyama was leaning against the far wall.
Applauding.
"..."
"..."
"..."
Momo frowned.
"How can you be happy at a time like this?"
Several students looked toward her.
"Do you not have any empathy?"
She pointed at the monitor.
"Those two are putting themselves in danger."
Aoyama blinked.
"Of course I do."
He sounded genuinely confused.
"They're both my friends."
"Isn't that even more reason to worry about their safety?" Momo asked, crossing her arms.
"Bro, she's right."
Denka Kaminari nodded toward the screen.
"That explosion chick is completely haywire."
He looked back at Aoyama.
"You should be the first person telling All Might to stop the test."
All Might glanced toward Aoyama.
Aoyama simply closed his eyes.
"I would be."
The room quieted.
"If I wasn't confident in them."
Minette squeezed her way between several students.
"Is there something you're not telling us?"
His eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"It has something to do with those matching suits, doesn't it?"
He pointed toward the screen.
"Yours and Ochaco's."
A grin spread across his face.
"I knew that skin-tight suit wasn't just for looks!"
Several students groaned.
Minette ignored them.
"Both your costumes are hiding something ridiculous, aren't they?"
He pointed at Aoyama's spider emblem.
Then at the matching symbol on Ochaco's costume displayed on the monitor.
"Come on, tell me. Sleeping toxins? Hidden weapons? More of that weird stuff you wrapped around my arm yesterday? Maybe there's rippable fabric to make them more sexy and seductive~?"
Despite how she went off the rail at the end.
She asked a few thoughtful questions that left everyone wanting an answer.
Toru looked back at the screen, hoping Izumi wasn't in danger.
Aoyama smiled.
"No sleeping toxins."
He shrugged.
"But I don't think they'll need cheap tricks to win."
Toru frowned.
"What do you mean?"
Momo, Mina, and Tsuyu all looked toward him with interest.
Aoyama raised his wrist.
"Just keep watching."
Twip.
A web shot from his web-shooter and stuck harmlessly to the monitor.
Everyone stared.
"...Why did you do that?" Denka asked.
Aoyama grinned.
"No reason."
His eyes remained fixed on the screen.
"Just making a point."
Once the class looked back at the monitor, nobody looked away again.
---
Back inside the building.
Katsumi lunged forward.
Explosion sparks crackled from her palms.
But before she could close the distance—
THWIP!
Something struck her shoulder.
A web.
Katsumi looked down.
"What?"
THWIP!
A second web attached itself to her other arm.
Then a third.
Then a fourth.
Ochaco stood several meters away.
Both web-shooters aimed forward.
"Got you."
Katsumi yanked.
The webbing stretched.
It didn't break.
"What the hell?!"
Ochaco smiled.
Then touched the web line.
Zero Gravity.
The effect traveled through the connected strands.
Suddenly Katsumi felt her body become weightless.
"What—?!"
Ochaco pulled.
Hard.
WHAM!
Katsumi slammed into the wall.
Concrete shattered.
Before she could recover—
Katsumi bounced off the wall.
As another web tightened pulling her in another direction.
Ochaco released her Quirk.
Gravity returned.
WHAM!
The impact rattled trough the wall.
She activated her quirk—
Another wall.
Deactivate.
WHAM!
Activate.
WHAM!
Deactivate.
WHAM!
The repeated shifts completely threw off Katsumi's sense of balance.
Even her explosive instincts struggled to compensate.
The world refused to behave normally.
"Stop moving around!"
THWIP!
A web shot directly across her face.
Katsumi's vision vanished.
"What the—?!"
Webbing covered her eyes.
She tore at it immediately.
But that second of blindness was all Ochaco needed.
She turned toward Izumi.
"Go!"
Izumi blinked.
Ochaco pointed deeper into the building.
"we need to split up and find the bomb! "
The realization hit instantly.
Heroes win by securing the bomb.
Not beating Katsumi.
Another explosion rocked the corridor.
Katsumi was already ripping through the webbing.
"Hurry!"
Izumi hesitated.
Ochaco turned to see what happened.
Katsumi tore the last web from her face.
Her expression looked murderous.
Smoke drifted from her palms.
Izumi slowly clenched her fists.
She looked toward Ochaco.
"Go ahead."
The green-haired girl stepped forward.
"I'll stall Kacchan."
For a moment, nobody moved.
Then Katsumi smiled.
A dangerous smile.
The kind that promised destruction.
