Chapter 6 - Chapter 5

( 8 PM )

"Wendy and the boys grow up. She marries and has a daughter named Jane who sleeps in Wendy's old nursery and loves to talk about Neverland and Peter Pan.

One night, Peter flies back in through the nursery window.

He hasn't changed. Peter tells Wendy that he has come to fetch her for spring cleaning. But Wendy replies that she can no longer fly, because she is no longer a child, she's already a grown woman....

THE END~" Clark finished reading the storybook. He noticed that Sucette was fast asleep, leaning against his stomach.

He smiled seeing her sleeping face. He picked Su up and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Oh, she's already knocked out?" Klien asked as they crossed paths; he had just come from the garage and entered the living room.

"I'm going to take her to bed," Clark told Klien, who simply nodded.

"I'm home!" Clark stopped again and looked toward the door.

"Dada..?" Clark looked at the child in his arms; she seemed to have woken up upon hearing Kylo's voice.

Kylo immediately approached the foot of the stairs leading to the second floor.

"Boss."

"Her bedtime?" Kylo asked when he saw Su struggling against sleep while being carried by Clark.

"Here, I'll take her," Kylo said and reached for Su. Clark carefully handed her over.

"Goodnight Princess~" Clark said, booping the small nose of Sucette, who had fallen back asleep.

Kylo carried Sucette up to her room, while Clark returned to the living room and tidied up the storybook.

He stared at the storybook for a moment before putting it aside. He sat back down on the sofa and noticed how much had changed in the house in just about a week.

It had been one week and three days since Sucette arrived in this house.

Before, this was just a place where they could sleep, make noise, and drink.

But now, it felt like a real home. The living room was covered with soft mats, toys, and children's CDs. The house that used to be just a hangout spot now felt like a real home to return to.

Clark lay down on the sofa, and it felt strangely warm; his heart felt so comfortable and warm. Everything felt like home.

When Klien came out of the kitchen, he saw Clark fast asleep on the sofa. He was wearing a hooded jacket and pajamas, and he had even learned to wear house slippers—actually, all of them had their own slippers now.

Klien walked up to the second floor and came back down carrying a blanket. He covered the sleeping Clark and then sat on the single sofa near Clark's head, opened a book, and began to read.

If one were to look at him, he was also wearing gray pajamas, white slippers, and a black t-shirt.

This house had changed so much. Klien smiled and simply continued reading his book.

( MORNING )

"Uh... Huh?" Klien muttered.

"HA!" Su mimicked him.

The two of them were currently sitting in the living room by the sofa. Klien didn't know how he ended up in this situation; all he remembered was Kylo and Clark leaving one by one.

... EARLIER .....

7 AM—

"I'm going now, take care of the child, bye," Kylo said as he left the house

8 AM—

"I'm going out, Boss gave me an errand, bye Princess~!" Clark said and left as well.

Though Klien heard the two leaving one after the other, his attention was so fixed on his book that he didn't bother to look up. He only blinked when he realized the two had left the child with him.

... PRESENT ...

Grumble~

The sound came from Su's stomach. She and Klien looked at each other and then simultaneously looked down at her tummy.

"You're hungry?" Klien asked the child, chuckling slightly.

Klien turned on the TV and played a Tom and Jerry CD for Su before heading to the kitchen. The child's attention was fixed on the show since cartoons were her favorite.

After 30 minutes, Klien brought out two servings of breakfast.

Milk cereal and a glass of milk for Sucette, and a sandwich and coffee for himself.

The two of them ate quietly, with Klien watching the show along with her.

When they finished eating, Su went back to watching while Klien returned to his reading.

Fifteen minutes later, he looked over when Su suddenly tapped him.

"Hmn?" he asked her.

She was holding her stomach and seemed restless. Once Klien figured out what she needed, he accompanied her to the bathroom to use the toilet.

Klien wondered if she knew how to wash herself. Getting worried, he knocked on the door.

"Su, do you need help?" he asked from outside.

After a while, the door opened; she was finished.

Klien was surprised. Now that he thought about it, Su had been left alone in an apartment, but why did it seem like she barely knew how to speak yet, despite being 4?

"Did you wash your hands?" he asked Su.

Su lifted her hands and stared at them, then quickly shook her head.

She was so cute shaking her head.

Klien couldn't help but smile.

"Come, I'll help you," he said and entered the bathroom.

He took the tall chair bought for the child, had her stand on it, and washed the child's hands. He felt he needed to talk to Kylo about this.
