Looking at his own reflection in the mirror, Damon couldn't help but feel surprised.
Just a few moments ago, he had been lying on his bed on Earth, browsing through fanfics. The next moment, he woke up here, inside an unfamiliar room.
At first, confusion dominated his thoughts as his eyes landed on figurines of Pokémon and posters plastered across the walls. Slowly, memories that did not belong to him surfaced in his consciousness, settling in place and allowing him to grasp this new reality.

As Damon held his head, a blue screen suddenly popped up in front of him. Recoiling in shock, he stumbled back as the holographic display hovered silently in the air.

SECTION III — MANDATED CONDITIONS
If the Subject accepts, the following conditions are binding:
1. Timeline Compliance
• The Subject must strictly follow the Pokémon anime timeline.
• Events, regions, mechanics, and power systems must be encountered
only when they are canonically introduced in the anime.
2. Protagonist Alignment
• The Subject may travel faster than, alongside, or independently
from the anime protagonist (Ash Ketchum),
but must follow the same regional and chronological footsteps
as depicted in the anime.
• Skipping ahead of the timeline is prohibited.
3. Regional Restrictions
• Independent travel to future regions is forbidden.
• Capturing Pokémon from regions not yet introduced in the anime
timeline is forbidden.
4. Power System Lock
The following are strictly prohibited until canon introduction:
• Mega Evolution
• Z-Moves
• Dynamax / Gigantamax
• Any future or non-anime mechanics
5. Completion Clause
• Once the anime journey concludes, all imposed restrictions
shall be lifted without exception.

and knowledge at an exceptionally accelerated rate.
b) Obedience
• Any Pokémon captured by the Subject shall exhibit

Damon tried to touch the hovering screen, but his hand passed straight through the holographic projection.
The contract remained suspended before him as he read every line carefully.
"I-is this real?" Damon muttered, eyes fixed on the screen.
"Should I just decline this?"
The thought of rejecting the contract and returning to his normal life surfaced as his gaze lingered on the decline option.
But should he really?
Back on Earth, he was just an orphan pursuing medical science. There was nothing grand waiting for him there. No family. No friends worth returning to.
But here, in the Pokémon world? A chance to start anew. A world filled with supernatural creatures, adventure, mysteries, and wonders Earth could never offer.
'Being used as streaming material sounds uncomfortable… but these two traits and a wish in return? It doesn't sound that bad.'
Temptation crept in as Damon weighed the pros and cons, his heart gradually leaning toward staying.
"Mhm…"
He looked out the window at the night sky of this fictional world, deep in thought.
'If I stay… what wish should I choose?'
'To be a billionaire? No. Think bigger, Damon. Arceus as my Pokémon? Nah, that would definitely be declined.'
He thought hard, searching for something broken yet acceptable within the Pokémon world.
Then he remembered his phone. The countless hours spent playing Pokémon FireRed.
'I cheated my way to the top back then… wait.'
Damon's eyes widened as an idea struck him.
He had already made up his mind to stay. If this wish worked, then—
Damon pressed accept. Another prompt appeared, requesting his wish. He typed it in and took his shot.
"Access to my old phone and be able to take out the virtual things into reality with their effects, description, and everything intact."
He pressed enter. The screen froze for a moment before a large word appeared.

Damon frowned as he noticed the reason displayed beneath it.
Usage of Authority of Life is forbidden.
'Authority of life? What the hell is that supposed to mean?'
Though annoyed, he understood. Anything involving the creation of life was off-limits.
"Hm."
After a brief pause, Damon edited his wish.
"Access to my old phone and be able to take out any non-living virtual things into reality with their effects, description, and everything intact."
He pressed enter once more, silently praying.
A few moments passed.
Then the screen changed.
Granted.
Out of thin air, his old phone and its charger materialized in front of him. He barely managed to catch them as they fell.

With that, the system vanished, leaving Damon alone in the room, clutching the phone in his hands.
Turning it on, he noticed the lack of internet. Most apps were useless in this world.
Scrolling through the app drawer, his finger paused as he tapped on the GBA emulator.

The last save loaded instantly.
Charizard, Snorlax, Gengar, Mewtwo, Dragonite, and Nidoking.
All level 100.
Damon swallowed hard as he opened his bag.
