The next day , the demons departed back to their realm with Luo Binghe supporting Shen Jiumei because he couldn't walk properly and Xiao Gongzhu couldn't do anything but watch as her chances of becoming Luo Binghe's wife fade away. The trial of the old sect master was held in the afternoon ,some of his disciples had asked to check his memories which made Xiao Gongzhu scared and not wanting anyone to find out about her schemes used an artifact to alter the old sect master's memories before it could be checked .
Due to the alteration made to his memory , everyone believed that he had truly raped Xiao Gongzhu and imprisoned him in the water prison for a 100 years as punishment as he was a Sect Master and shouldn't be so easily killed off but Xiao Gongzhu had already planned to kill and make it seem like a natural death by using poisoned Qi which emitted to the old man daily .
Meanwhile, upon arriving to the demon realm , Shen Jiumei asked Luo Binghe who had drugged him to which Luo Binghe responded that it was Xiao Gongzhu , Shen Jiumei's eyes darkened with anger as he remembered as the bitch who was trying to wed his husband and decided a lesson was to be taught to those who don't listen to warnings and used a spell taught to him by Yin Hua , it was a spell which made people hallucinate and unable to sleep properly and the spell can not be easily detected. After dealing with Xiao Gongzhu , Shen Jiumei decided to finish up the paper work that had piled up while he was gone and Luo Binghe had also decided to do paper work seeing his wife was busy and wouldn't tend to him.
A month later , the spell that Shen Jiumei had put on Xiao Gongzhu had taken a toll on her , she tried several ways to find what was wrong with her but couldn't get the answer she needed. The wedding ceremony for Su Xiyan and Tianlang Jun was scheduled for tomorrow , thinking of this, Xiao Gongzhu decides to use this day to try to seduce Luo Binghe into marrying her.
The wedding was grand and luxurious making Xiao Gongzhu jealous but she comforted herself saying hers to Luo Binghe would be more grander than this . When the wedding ceremony party started Shen Jiumei and Luo Binghe could be seen wearing matching outfits making them look like a well matched couple which made a lot of married women who came with their husbands envious . As the wedding party slowly came to an end , Xiao Gongzhu finally found a way to approach Luo Binghe when Shen Jiumei was busy with other wives and immediately went to execute her plan.
" Junshang , what a surprise to see you here " said Xiao Gongzhu as she made her a way to Luo Binghe who clearly did not want to talk to her .
" oh who are you " said Luo Binghe coldly as he doesn't remember , the question made Xiao Gongzhu's face stiffen as she tried to jog his memory of her .
" I am the Huan Hua Palace Master's Daughter ,we met during the negotiation meeting" said Xiao Gongzhu hoping he would remember her.
" oh really , i don't remember " said Luo Binghe coldly
" it's alright , we didn't really talk that much " said Xiao Gongzhu
" oh then why are you talking to me if we are not that familiar with each other " said Luo Binghe coldly
" i " said Xiao GongZhu as she was abruptly cut off by Shen Jiumei sweet voice " husband there you are i was looking for you " said Shen Jiumei as he acted like he didn't see Xiao Gongzhu who was standing near Luo Binghe .
" your highness , how nice to see you again " said Xiao Gongzhu as she realized Luo Binghe's attention was drawn away by Shen Jiumei trying make him remember that she was still there .
" oh , I didn't see you there " said Shen Jiumei with a sweet smile but eyes which clearly look down upon Xiao Gongzhu , it was clear he still remembered her as the girl who tried to steal her husband.
Shen Jiumei's stare made Xiao Gongzhu uncomfortable making her want to snap at Shen Jiumei but could not as she had not succeeded in winning Luo Binghe's affection and could not act irrational and make Luo Binghe dislike her .
" it's alright " said Xiao Gongzhu with a forced smile
" i am sure , you wouldn't mind me taking my husband away , would you " said Shen Jiumei with a mocking tone.
" why ask her , we weren't talking about anything important so let go " said Luo Binghe as he took Shen Jiumei away .
Though Luo Binghe was clearly not interested in her Xiao Gongzhu did not want to give up and tried to follow them but was stopped by a maid who said her father wanted to see her.
