After drawing his sword , Luo Binghe immediately starts to subdue the cultivators in room as he made his way towards Shen Jiu's limp body , the second he gets to Shen Jiu's body , he carries him and teleports away as the Peak Lords who realized what he was going to do and try to stop him .
Luo Binghe had teleported to the old demon lord palace and placed Shen Jiu body on the bed and hugged possessively as he said " finally Shizun we are together once again , I'll never let you go " , soon Luo Binghe realized something was wrong and immediately checked Shen Jiu's pulse and his face couldn't help but darken at what he sensed as he realized that Shen Jiu was dead due to Qi depletion.
" THOSE BASTARDS HOW DARE THEY DO THIS " screamed Luo Binghe as he realized someone had poisoned Shen Jiu causing him to die from Qi depletion as the poison had caused Shen Jiu's Qi to flow rapidly into the memory orb draining him completely .
As all hope seems to be lost , he suddenly remembered a spell he saw in an ancient forbidden text in the library of the demon palace when he had explored the place and immediately left to search for it . After searching for a few hours he finally found the spell.
The spell was a time travel spell which allowed someone to travel back to any time period they want but they were a few side effects which Luo Binghe did not notice were listed as he was in a hurry. To activate the spell you will need a large amount of life energy which can be gotten from cultivators , but the amount needed will mean a lot of cultivators will have to die but Luo Binghe didn't care and hatched a plan to lure cultivators to a spot to kill them .
Luo Binghe uses his connections to spread the rumor about a cultivation cave which contained boundless treasures and lost cultivation techniques which can be used help a cultivator ascend . After the rumor had been spread , big name cultivator sects like Huan Hua Palace and Cang Qiong Sect took the bait and went to the cave not knowing it was a trap .,the second all the cultivators were in the cave , Luo Binghe sealed all the exits shut .
When the exits where sealed shut , all the cultivators immediately realized it was a trap but it was too late as Luo Binghe had started the array which began to suck the life energy of the cultivators present causing them agonizing pain , after a few minutes the spell was completed Luo Binghe uttered the time he wanted to be transported to and the array and the cave lit up instantly sending Luo Binghe back in time .
Luo Binghe opens his eyes to find himself in front of a river , he felt a bit dizzy and stood up from where he was laid down on and sees the world is a bit bigger than normal . Luo Binghe looks down only to realize he is in a child's body.
" it seems that is one of the side effects " said Luo Binghe , he then deduces that he is in a 5 year old body . He looks around and sees a basket with a child inside it near a river and immediately walks to the basket only to see a fox cub wrapped in a green blanket with the name Shen Jiumei embroidered on the blanket . Luo Binghe immediately realizes this was Shen Jiu and took the basket into his arms with a happy smile .
" Shizun i finally found you don't worry I'll protect well in this life " said Luo Binghe . He tries to sense his power and sure it was still there which means all the power from his past life followed him to this timeline making quite powerful . After checking for his power , he sensed his surroundings for a suitable place to stay and spotted one not far from the river and immediately began a journey to the area .
Meanwhile , Yue Qi woke up in his 7 year old form again and realizes he was in the past , he decided to go to where he first found Shen Jiu while vowing to make things right and protect him properly but when he got there he did not see baby and thought maybe whoever abandoned him had not come there yet and decided to leave and come back later thinking he would see Shen Jiu again
Liu Qingge woke in his 6 year old form and remembered everything that had happened even the trial as he had lingered as a ghost beside Shen Jiu which he had hated at first but after following him around for a while he realized Shen Jiu was not how he had thought of him to be and deeply regretted treating him badly , and vowed to be a better person to Shen Jiu this time .
Qi Qingqi woke up in her 7 year old form as well and remembered what had happened in her past life and vowed to never misjudge someone again and to confirm things before spreading rumors that could ruin someone's life .
Mu Qingfang woke up in his 7 year old form and remembered how he had gone against the teachings of his teacher and mistreating Shen Jiu an vowed to be a better person this time .
The rest of the peak lords had also woken up in their respective past homes and thought to make amends this time around . While the peak lords were self reflecting , Luo Binghe had found a hut in the forest near the river and had settled there , using his powers to renovate the hut making it livable and then scouted the area and manage to catch food for himself but then realized Shen Jiu was still a baby and could not eat meat yet so he used his powers to disguise as as adult and went to the town nearby after ensuring Shen Jiu's safety with a barrier strong enough to keep monsters away .
Upon getting to the city Luo Binghe posed as a wandering cultivator and did some odd jobs which only cultivators could do and used the money to buy clothing , household essentials , seeds and farming tools and goat to produce milk for Shen Jiu.
