The Mermaid in the Middle of the Sea
Far away from land, in the sparkling blue waters of the ocean, lived a cheerful mermaid named Luna. She had long, shiny turquoise hair and a tail that shimmered like sunlight dancing on waves. Unlike other mermaids, Luna was very curious about the human world.
One bright morning, while dolphins were leaping and seagulls were singing, Luna found something strange floating in the water—a glass bottle with a rolled-up paper inside. She opened it carefully and discovered a treasure map!
"Oh my seashells!" she giggled. "An adventure!"
Luna called her best friend, a tiny orange fish named Bubbles. Together, they followed the map through coral forests, under giant sea arches, and past a grumpy old octopus who guarded a cave.
Inside the cave, they didn't find gold or jewels. Instead, they found a glowing pearl sitting on a rock. When Luna touched it, the pearl lit up the entire cave with beautiful rainbow colors. Suddenly, the sea creatures around them began to laugh and dance. The pearl wasn't ordinary treasure—it was the Pearl of Happiness!
From that day on, whenever the ocean felt dark or stormy, Luna would visit the cave and let the Pearl of Happiness shine again, reminding everyone that the greatest treasure in the sea was joy and friendship.
And so, in the middle of the vast ocean, the little mermaid Luna became the keeper of happiness under the sea.
