After travelling to this world, I noticed how different I looked. Well, I did became a child so the difference would be too much.

Seeing the stats, I felt enraged. I might have turned red from all the emotions I'm feeling right now. The game must be joking with me.
Right now, I really want to punch the crow who mocked me, clenching my fists really hard I calmed down after imagining me punching the system.
Yet, no matter how angry I am, I have no choice but to try and survive with these stats. Then the notice occured, as the interface mentioned to follow the directions towards the first setting.
Right, my level is still 1. Magically, transparent arrows appeared pointing at the direction towards a small hut.
As level one is the tutorial level, I thought it would be easy as it would only teach the basics. I could choose not to play it but this world doesn't have buttons to skip some level.
With my ragged appearance, I knocked at the door. Then, a strange looking old man
welcomed me. He had a frown on his face and was wearing a red old hood.
I remember this man.

Yes, I remember now this quest, I must really have no luck. Just at level one and I'm gonna clear this shit.
I should come back after a little while after I collected some artifacts hidden in the village. While wiping my cold sweat, I spoke to the old man saying I was lost and knocked on the wrong door. I was about to leave when multiple interface with a warning surrounded me.

I slumped on the ground and went back forcing a smile on my face.
"Hello, mister!" I tried to be cheerful as possible.
The old man did not speak, however he let me inside his hut. This wasn't supposed to be in the first level.
The reason why even in just level 5 tbe clearance rate is 86% is because of the hidden quest. And right just after I adjusted the difficulty, I'll be the one testing it. Worse, I don't even know if I have a restart option in this one.
He organized some things in the table and prepared the 50 gold coins in advanced. On the side was a picture of his grandaughter. He mumbled softly, "Please find my precious grandaughter..."
His pitiful appearance might incite one's personality to protect him. Tears dropped in his eyes as he repeatedly plead on finding his grandaughter. However, behind those tears, I knew that it was all a facade.
Pretending I don't know anything, he let his guard off and gave me a map that was to be expired in 7 days.
That meant, the duration of the quest would be 7 days - or else, I'll die. I took the map and the bag of gold coins then left the hut. His gaze was warm like he was being thankful but I can't shake the strangeness I can feel as I left the setting.
If only, I would take these gold coins away and leave this place. But, the quest wouldn't allow me to do so, as these gold coins we're nothing but a time bomb. It wasn't the real reward, but a time bomb placed on me to complete the quest.
Back in the Brightwood Village, where I was first dropped, I went back to the alley and searched at the scattered trash can.
Looking like a scrawny kid who barely ate anything, thin arms searched for a bracelet. After minutes of searching, I finally found it. A trash looking bracelet made of braided yarn.
A normal person would not know it's effect, but a player would value it in the first level as it would raise all stats by three.

Even if it's low, it could make a huge difference in this world. But the other item I found, it's a strange item I never knew about.
Discovering another item in a trash can is not a probability I expected, what's more is that the class was unknown. In novels it would be a legendary item.
It's just a piece of paper, it shouldn't be too important. I grabbed the paper and inspected it, yet, nothing happened. So, I decided to stock it on my inventory and went on my destination the 'Sunlit Forest'.
