The words came out against his lips. Small. Genuine. The confession of a demon who had never loved anyone and had given herself to the first man who had made her feel safe.
He kissed her back.
"So, what's your plan?"
She trembled.
"Do whatever you want. I just want to save her."
He smirked.
The slow, knowing smile of a man who had just been handed a problem and had already begun solving it.
"Fine. How about, play a game?"
"I don't know."
She sounded uncertain. The fear of what the game might involve, the fear of what Amanda might do, the fear of losing him the way she had lost everything else.
He chuckled.
He pulled her inside the room.
"Come on, we have to meet that guy tomorrow morning. So, don't we have another fuck session?"
"Ah, you are too perverted."
She was smirking. The worry pushed down, packed away, replaced by the warm, comfortable familiarity of a woman who knew her man's appetites and had learned to enjoy them.
The other wives hugged him.
